If you, or anyone you love, is wanting to transition from a bullshit job into tech - and you do not have ton of engineer friends who will mentor you, and ton of experience in teaching yourself hard material, and years to spend wandering interwebs...
I want to start a TikTok. Thinking I’ll start this weekend.
Thinking it would be cool to learn how to translate my ideas and things I can teach into that medium from someone who knows it well, put the interview on YouTube
I send you an essay, or a blog post, or some moderate length text
you send me a Dropbox link with audio file of decent reading
As in 1 take from medium skill voice actor who can pronounce (or look up pronunciation for technical terms)
I’m happy to pay $1 a minute, and not publish links — just keep for personal use.
Would start with a package of 15/hrs ($900) a month.
Should be enough to bootstrap
decent chunk of my requests will be public domain so you can use to advertise.
To apply: reply to this thread say which of posts 1-21 of below you’ll record
I like your tweet to shake, you DM me recording and I’ll pay you for it, (plus $10 for @fortelabs’ paywall) best submissions get a week long trial, very best get monthly gig.
