The gender doctrine is by now an NRM – a new religious movement. In other words a full-blown cult. It preys on the vulnerable and those with some sort of unresolved emotional issue. It regulates their physical reality as most cults do.

It has its own rituals, signifiers, and vocabulary. It controls behaviour and language. Note the phrases Lovato uses, "I'm still learning" – just as all good little cultists are "learning", and by learning she means adopting the protocols of the cult doctrine.

It gets people to change their identity, in this case their physical exterior but also their pronouns. It funnels the recruits to only cult-approved info sources and blocks out any contradictory information coming from elsewhere, or else lambasts it and casts it as sinful.

It controls and deliberately withholds information. It claims to be in possession of "the science" yet has never read any of it. It creates an insider vs. outsider ethos – "trans" vs. "evil TERFs, transphobes, bigots" etc. It has its own thought reform programme.

It uses clichés to restrict knowledge acquisition. It has its own chants. It reduces complexities into thought-crippling platitudes. It makes a ton of money for those who preside over the hierarchy. It manipulates emotion, stacking pressure upon its acolytes to "do better."
5.

Transgenderism is a body modification cult that has been melted in the syrup of civil rights. Non-binary is the initiation level. Many of the fairly well known media trans people of the last 10 years started out as "non-binary", inducted into it on Tumblr, YouTube, and Reddit.

Some won't go the full way but they've nonetheless been absorbed into the cult and do its grift, like those who get dragged into the Church of Scientology on high streets, get "audited", are told they're stressed, and are led to believe Scientology will save them.

Gender functions in the same sort of way, but its means of acquiring marks is not the high street but the internet. There's a lot of dubious, deluded people involved, who are harnessing the mental health problems of the vulnerable and weaponising them for profit.

Non-binary seems like harmless piffle to the average onlooker. "More celebrity hogwash!" That is until you note that drugs and surgeries are being rolled out now to these people. Non-binary people can undergo "nullification" procedures.

Genital nullification helps them "become who they truly are, neither male nor female." This is delusion and medical malpractice of the grandest sort and the surgeons involved in this body demolition project will, if there's any justice in the world, one day be in prison.

The gender cult celebs like Lovato and Page and Sam Smith are equivalent to Scientology's capture of Cruise, Travolta, et al. They receive spiritual validation. It lets them feel as if they're in control of their identity and not just the slaves of capitalist advertising.
