The transgender medical experiment will be recalled as one of those grand delusions that appear every now and then in history; a mass delusion that kidnaps the minds of people who are otherwise usually sober and responsible, but for whatever reason take leave of their sanity.
1.
This experiment has its roots in a troupe of twentieth century philosophers and sexologists. They adopted Sartre’s idea that a person has no real fixed identity, and pilfered Nietzsche’s concept of “affirmation.”
2.
These philosophers believed that binary oppositions, things such as male/female are unstable, unfixed, and that the body is without meaning. Meaning is projected onto it. This was “identity projection”. Gender is “a free-floating artifice” they suggested.
3.
Therefore one’s ‘gender’ could be out of kilter with one’s sex. They invented a psychological entity and called it – “gender identity.” They felt this “desire” to be the opposite sex was achievable – the binary might be broken, through drugs and surgery.
4.
The gender identity that one desires could be “affirmed” onto the body. Or so they supposed. And so followed the transformation of this into a medical ideology. Many “charities” sprung up that further developed this idea. They had the temerity to call it – "science."
5.
By the 2010s an online youth movement, cloistered on sites such as Tumblr and Reddit, adopted and reconstructed this chimera of gender. This subterranean creed gained many converts and garnered immense and unthinking popularity. It seeped into the mainstream.
6.
Many of those who subscribed to it did not recognise its roots. The transgender “umbrella” came to replace older terms such as “transsexual” or “androgynous”, and we started to hear a lot about pronouns, ‘non-binary identities’ and a whole swathe of new gender identifications.
7.
Most were sucked into its spiral, on the basis they were a part of the next great push for minority rights – “trans rights”. Many high-profile celebrities donated thousands to "charities" – to drug-reliance and the amputation of sex organs in the name of “gender identity.”
8.
Corporations hopped on the bandwagon. Like mechanical dolls, politicians jumped at the chance to repeat, drone-like, falsehoods such as “transwomen are women.” The average onlooker was confused. These ideas required a conceptual framework to understand and accept.
9.
Activists called the medical procedures – “life-saving.” They played to emotion, indoctrinated “allies”, and manipulated the well-intentioned masses into believing those who questioned this dubious dogma were evil, “transphobes”, “TERFs”, “bigots”.
10.
The vast majority were concerned with the fact children were having illness induced into them and having body parts sliced off under the pretext of solving a vague and ill-defined neurosis they had only recently started calling – “gender dysphoria”.
11.
At some indeterminate point in the future, when the lightning of reality strikes – and reality always strikes eventually – it will turn out they aligned themselves with a drive to medicalise and modify the bodies of many autistic and gay kids on the basis of an error.
12.
There are tens of thousands of children being pumped with cross-sex hormones, who are not the opposite sex and never will be, being pandered and lied to by adults.
This thread was on Sartre's idea of "the subject." The title of Judith Butler's book Gender Trouble came from him. The early parts of the book are awash in his ideas also.
Here are 10 PROBLEMATIC concepts contained in the song.
1⃣THE DEATH OF GOD.
A condition in society where a once powerful religion has withered and its people have lost faith. Remnants linger on in ‘secular’ forms. Now and then, its ideas are resurrected and find garbled expression in new political creeds.
A belief that the stories we once told ourselves are no longer believable. The heroes, villains, voyages, and goals of our religious, political, or scientific narratives no longer hold weight. The stories we tell ourselves about these stories are also empty.
2. Even the slightest drop in mother's blood sugar levels stimulates the baby's stress axis.
When the baby accounts for around 15% of the mother's metabolism – its blood sugar levels plummet.
It then senses that it can no longer be supported.
3. The birth process itself is a result of the relay of oxytocin between baby and mother.
There is a very real reason children generally feel more instinctual affinity towards their mothers than they do their fathers – and it is precisely a result of a 9-month neuro-symbiosis.
In Fahrenheit 451 – Ray Bradbury's classic dystopian novel – the main character, Montag, is a fireman. In this future world, firemen don't put out fires – they start them. Books are the primary target, on account of their ability to communicate ideas.
Short THREAD. 1/5
Ideas are dynamite. Ideas can explode nations and topple rulers. But when an idea becomes total, when it insulates itself from criticism, when it treats the questioner as a blasphemer – a "thisist" or a "thatophobe" – it is all the more necessary to confront that idea. 2/5
The weak idea requires a legion of draconian footsoldiers to police and patrol its borders.
The strong idea needs no army or Praetorian guard.
All it needs is someone willing to speak it – regardless of the consequences.

A man cannot become a woman
Anymore than a man can become a bat.
Here are some notes on Nietzsche’s idea of “becoming” and how it was co-opted by transgender activists.
THREAD –
On #Nietzsche, Transgenderism, Detransition
“How One Becomes What One Is.”
This was the subtitle of a book written by Friedrich Nietzsche called – “Ecce Homo” – which means: – “Behold the Man.”
It was the Roman governor Pontius Pilate who said – “Behold the Man!” – as Jesus, appearing positively ungodlike, capped with a crown of thorns, beaten, battered and abused, was dragged out before a crowd and berated with howls of execration as he carried the cross to Golgotha.
