Lawmakers in Congress (as well as opinion hosts) who use inflammatory language, loaded with verifiable lies and lack of current-day context when discussing the flareup, are fueling physical attacks against Jews. cc @AliVelshi@Trevornoah@AOC@IlhanMN@RashidaTlaib@USJewishDems
When listening to the lawmakers and commentators above, you don’t know that 1.5 million Arabs in the Israel-controlled areas of Israel are free to vote, work, travel, be openly LGBT, be appointed to judgeships, be elected to the Parliament and have Sharia Courts.
More Arabs R elected to the Israeli Parliament than the number of civilian Jews who can walk freely in Gaza, yet @AOC uses the Aprtheid term against Israel; not against Hamas which controls Gaza and BTW refuses to hold elections since 2005; same is the case with Fatah in the WB.
The above are just a tip-of-the-iceberg basic facts that these lawmakers hide or suggest are opposite of what they are.
The fact that those lawmakers are obsessed with this and reserve their harshest attacks on this and not on, say, China’s abuse of Muslims is also a concern.
When asked why the obsession, they answer that Israel gets more US aid than any country.
A) I don’t see a focus on the rest 92% foreign aid.
B) Almost all aid “to” Israel is spent in the US.
C) Israel’s cut does not excuse spreading inflammatory lies.
Rep @AOC led a brigade of lawmakers in spreading innuendo, lies, out-of-context claims regarding a conflict half a world away. Now, some who agree with her on this topic, are committing violence against Jews in the US; yet no tweets from her.
This is dangerous and a disgrace!
I don’t tag elected officials as anti-Semites all day. But @RepAOC is a political fraud regarding hate. She rushed to condemn anti-Asians attacks (including random crimes not related to hate), but she is MIA all week when identifiable Jews are assaulted by organized goons.

1/4 When floodgates are opened from countries where intolerance and violence is embedded in the education and culture, you get the same results in the new countries.
Try all you want to have me only worried about white supremacy, but we need look at hate from all sources!
2/4 Since mid-2015 so much focus about antisemitism was on whites. But almost - if not - all physical hate attacks on visibly Jewish people in NY and NJ in recent years have been by bigots of color. Hatred comes in all colors (literally). Stop politicizing it. Be real about it!
3/4 Unlike the “as a Jew” crowd, I don’t ID publicly “as a Jew” just when it fits my politics. Plus, I spend time daily running an org focused on bigotry against visibly Jewish people. I know this issue better than most of the clowns who pop off in need retweets. The fact is that
Since the start of 2020 through May 8, 2021, children age 0-17 were 1 of every 103 deaths in the US.
This age group was 1 out of every 1,979 Coronavirus deaths.
This is 19 times lower than the former.
Raw Data:
43,258 children died of all causes.
287 died with Coronavirus.
A retort to the above is:
“287 lives are nothing?”
Answer: We didn’t turn the world upside down due to the natural loss of 43,258 children lives since the start of 2020. Doing so for 287 may cause more harm than gain.
87.7 kids die a day.
0.58 of a child per day with Covid-19.
Another retort:
“Death is not the only harm done to kids by Coronavirus.”
Answer: True, but a certain level of illness leads to a certain level of deaths. Since Coronavirus deaths is 0.58 of a child a day, it means the non-death incidents are lower than what some think it is.
The Ranking Republican on the Homeland Security committee in Congress (@RepJohnKatko) voted to impeach Trump for 1/6/21.
He is establishing a bipartisan commission that will look as to what led to the 1/6/21 which Katko already thinks Trump caused it so Y need a commission?
The latest is yet another example of my point that idiots/losers are Republicans.
The only PR outcome of a 1/6/21 commission will be to blame Trump so why agree? The leading Republican to organize this commision voted to impeach Trump for 1/6/21 so you know where this is going.
@ChrisRBarron Chip Roy singed a letter against holding election debates on 1/6/21; he said that Trump asking Pence to step up was an “impeachable conduct,” and said Trump worked up his supporters into a frenzy. @EliseStefanik condemned the violence without blaming Trump which is a fair stance.
This should have been the case back in January. What happened now is that the April jobs report sent shockwaves so word from @RonaldKlain probably went down to the @CDCDirector that it’s time to follow science and common sense.
The science existed from the get go that vaccinated people have no serious need for a mask, yet for months America was driven crazy by Biden, Media and dumb idiots who follow narratives that masks are still needed. This changed now likely due to the messy April jobs report.
Last week, it was reported that @rweingarten’s shop essentially drafted the CDC’s guidelines for schools.
Days later came the messy April jobs report that isn’t good for Biden so... this week Weingarten backs full return to school and the CDC made a huge mask rule change.
