Cars are lined up down Doncaster with Israeli flags, music playing, no hate chants or anything of the sort. @wpgpolice coordinated closely with organizers to ensure a safe staging and route was planned. @RadyJCC lawyers tried to intimidate the ICC into moving the starting point.
At their rally on Saturday the pro-Israel group agreed to stand on the NW corner of Memorial at Broadway, observing pandemic precautions. Nakba 73 car rally crowd crossed from the Legislature, started an ruckus, and cops formed a line on the blvd of Memorial. It got ugly.

Yesterday @jewishwinnipeg put a statement that the ICC rally was *something they would never approve of* and failed to acknowledge Jews and Israel were threatened, insulted, pelted, and flags burned. The word "antisemitism" the motive for the attacks, was never mentioned.
Israelis are not only incensed at the lack of support from the elitists that run Federation, there has been no answer if the federation/ @CIJAinfo had done a risk assessment before Nakba 73, and if they reached out to the victims of the antisemites. Victims include Christians.
The turnout for this Zionist car rally outside the Jewish Community Centre in #Winnipeg is phenomenal. Cars lined up on both side of Doncaster waiting to roll through River Heights, Crescentwood and Tuxedo.
Around 200 vehicles representing Israelis and Jews of all backgrounds, rally to show their unwavering support for a safe Jewish homeland. @jfcuia and @CIJAinfo held a national briefing tonight - this kind of support for ICC @canadasheli sends them a message about @jewishwinnipeg
Along the route, supporters of Israel are waiting to see the cavalcade - "a community coming together, people who love Israel, who love Canada, coming together, more than we ever could have expected and imagined"
