Any updates on this @SenSchumer?
Oy, what is the Jewish establishment in metro NY going to do now - a week after one of the major orthodox weekly magazines featured articles reinforcing the official message that in one-party states (i.e., NY and NJ), you're either a Democrat or you're not in the game?
And one of our very favorite orthodox communal and advocacy institutions runs ads in all the Jewish papers fulsomely thanking all the Democratic politicians in power for all their help and cooperation with post-Covid recovery and... you know... funding...
And now in the face of Hamas attacks in Israel and Palestinian immigrants busting into Jewish restaurants and neighborhoods and cracking heads, and those Democratic benefactors - most famously "Schumer Yisrael" @chuckschumer - are hiding under the bed... oy, now what?

Until a judge holds local prosecutors responsible for *systematic* selective enforcement of the laws (and it's upheld on appeal) the death spiral of blue counties will accelerate. >
Prosecutors, DA's and even attorneys general cannot be permitted to arrogate to themselves the legislatuve power of deciding what shall and shall not be illegal - much less to discriminate invidiously among law breakers. >
This is a probably a bigger problem than the very serious one of #noaccountability, i.e., absolute or even qualified immunity for prosecutors. >

I think Laurie Anderson almost nailed it in "O Superman" (1982) when she called it, "Mom"
She focused, of course, being a liberal in the 80's, too much on the military.

We know now that they don't really give orders, and they in fact *loyally* obey them (from Mom, that is, not from the CIC)
