Re: AGF Malami Expression of Bigotry against Igbo People
APLAF expresses her displeasure at the divisive statements of the Attorney General of the Federation - Mr Abubaka Malami, with respect to the continuing menace of open grazing in Southern Nigeria.
In his statement, which targeted law abiding Igbo people carrying on their legitimate commercial activities, he deviously compared the sale of spare parts to the practice of open grazing.
It is common knowledge that the motor spare parts business is dominated mainly by people of Igbo extraction while the practice of open grazing, is predominantly practiced by the Fulanis.
Unlike the spare parts business which is peaceful and does not result in the loss of lives or properties, the Fulanis who engage in open grazing, routinely destroy farms, kill farmers, rape women and girls, who resist the destruction of their farms by the cows, herded by the Fulanis
Comparing the movement of human beings (Igbo spare parts sellers) which is a constitutionally protected right, to the freedom of cows to roam about and destroy properties and farmlands,is disingenuous and an affront to Southerners and humanity
The statement also indicates that the AGF, the highest law officer of the Federation, condones the destruction of lives and properties; which is the hallmark of the Fulanis herders that practice open grazing. We stand against open grazing
Based on the foregoing, it is safe to say, that the AGF, who is vested with the responsibility of protecting the law and order in Nigeria, is openly advocating for lawlessness. This makes him unfit for office, and he should forthwith, be relieved of his position.
We are glad that the Ondo State Governor, the Chairman of the Southern Governors Forum, has issued a counter statement and we are hopeful that he, and the other Southern Governors, will match their words with actions.
Nonetheless, we are gravely disturbed by the silence of the Governors of South East Nigeria, to whom the AGF's statement was directed at.
APLAF is ashamed of the Governors of Ala-Igbo for not standing up to defend their people and their land at this time against provocative utterances that put the lives of our people at risk
APLAF along with other Pro-Igbo and Pro-Southern groups are solidly in support of the Southern Governors' resolutions, as set out in the communique issued at Asaba, banning open grazing in Southern Nigeria.
Long live Ala-Igbo.
Long live Southern Nigeria.

We, the Alaigbo Politics And Leadership Awareness Forum (APLAF) do wish to commend the Southern Governors for promoting the cohesiveness of the people of the Southern region of Nigeria
by coming together to deliberate on the various challenges confronting the Southern Nigeria and for the resolutions set out in the communique issued by the Governors, which outlined their thoughts on steps for addressing the challenges — insecurity,
retrogressive economic policies and the lopsided appointments of the Federal Government of Nigeria.
APLAF sees the resolutions as a good step in the right direction and urges every political actor in Southern Nigeria to push for its actualisation,

Igbo looters have a bright future: they get re-elected into higher office, have their asses scrubbed clean by young lickers, and enjoy complete freedom.
Take Orji Uzor Kalu for instance, that law-making looter
Free. Richer
Young hailers slither through muddy roads to hail Kalu as he waves at them from atop his SUV
He was nicknamed “Action Governor” for 8 years.
His nickname, however, was less shiny than what his successor got: Onwa—moon.
An entire book exists on the lootocracy supervised by Theodore Orji also elected into higher office.
Igbo politicians love vacuous titles.
There’s one “Akwaa-Akwuru” in Imo State—“You push him and he never falls”—you’d think he’s a chief priest
