That is total bullshit and an embarrassment of a lie, and the Trump administration should put it to bed forever. Look what happens when we allow white supremacists to write the rules. They fuck up literally everything.

You even see it infesting fact-checking sites, who feel obligated to allow bad faith hacks like the fucking Daily Caller into their ranks, once again to "prove" that they are "grown-ups" who can handle reality being different from their opinions.

Again, this is all bullshit.

The reality is this: Austerity doesn't work. We live in a horribly unequal society that has been run at least in part by greedy, corrupt shitstains who despise us and only want to line their pockets. So they lie. They lie and tell us that we don't really want health care, or

child care, or maternity leave, or paid time off in the middle of a goddamn pandemic so that we will not die. That only benefits them. It is not economic reality. It is greed.

Everything else depends on that lie. It's wound tightly in with the other massive turd of a lie, the

"overpopulation" myth. If you can convince us there are too many of us (there are not), or better yet, too many of "them," whoever "them" might be, you can get millions to accept atrocities "for their own good."

Interrogate it. Call it out. Criticize these greedy liars.

Otherwise you get absolutely insane decisions like this, or the decision to not send out Black reporters to cover Black Lives Matter rallies, because they might be "biased." Biased, really? No one questions if lifelong sexists might have an existing bias against women they cover.
