I get that it’s easy to do and easy for this kind of video to get engagements but I suspect the vast majority of Tapper’s followers know exactly what Greene stands for - why amplify?
I get it if it’s someone under legal scrutiny who is contracting him/herself and/or lying about material events, etc, but what’s the trade off? Why expose more people to this and give Green exactly what she wants (outrage and airtime)?
Look at it from the flip side: Why would Greene stop spouting her BS if she’s getting exactly what she wants? She (and others) do this exactly to piss off and troll as many people as possible. The first step in fighting disinfo is to stop spreading it.
*Choosing* to amplify (especially without any explanation) is a losing recipe in fighting hate and disinformation.
Last thought: The Trump/Greene section of the world exists solely to own the libs. There’s not much more or less. She’s a troll. Why breathe oxygen?
