The idea of Taoism stems from the book βTao Te Chingβ written by Lao-Tzu.
Lao-Tzu was an ancient Chinese philosopher.
He wrote this book in a time of war to teach the rules of how to rule the country.
But the ideas apply even to the life of an ordinary person.

What is the βTaoβ?

Lao-Tzu believes that the 'Tao' can't be explained and the 'Tao' which can be explained is not the 'Tao'.

Wu-Wei means non-action or effortless action. It suggests a state of flow where something is accomplished without any force.
The action is taken effortlessly without forcing it.
Like a sportsman or a dancer, their action comes naturally without any effort.

You should not try to control anything. You should let go of the illusion of control.
Only act when the action arises effortlessly. Don't force yourself to do something. Go with the flow.
