Both crewmembers safely ejected from a Su-30SM fighter from the Black Sea Fleet's 43rd Independent Naval Attack Aviation Regiment while on the ground at the Saki airfield in Crimea.

Sounds as though the ejection was unintentional. In March, three crewmembers on a Tu-22M3 bomber were killed after an accidental ejection while the bomber was on the ground. 2/

Photo of the Su-30SM (blue 37). The two pilots, a Major and Lieutenant Colonel who were both instructors, were ejected soon after they entered the cockpit and strapped in. Interestingly, they only have 15 and 3 hours of flight time thus far in 2021. 3/

For comparison, in 2018 US Marine Corps and Air Force pilots were averaging 14-16 and 9-10 hours of flight time, respectively, per month. We're 5 and a half months into 2021, and these two pilots only had 15 and 3 hours of flight time.

Russia is tasking Southern Military District helicopter squadrons, starting with the 16th Army Aviation Brigade and 487th Helicopter Regiment, to specialize in night-flying in mountainous terrain, including with Mi-8AMTSh-VN and Mi-28NM helicopters.
iz.ru/1165248/anton-…
Russia tested Mi-28NM attack helicopters and Mi-26T2V heavy transport helicopters in Mount Elbrus last year to test their ability to operate at high altitudes. This tasking will allow Russia to transport SOF and other units onto mountainous terrain with fire support. 2/
The article also claims that Russian helicopters dropped an SAA detachment (presumably with Russian SOF) 2 0km behind enemy lines at night on August 12, 2017 in Raqqa with Ka-52 and MLRS in support. 3/

Several people have mentioned procuring the Iron Dome, but the system has limitations, especially against a real military. A single BM-21 Grad can launch 40 rockets in 20 seconds, a battery/battalion can launch 240 or 720 rockets in 20 seconds. No missile defenses can stop that.
Not to mention, missiles like the Iskander-M are designed to evade missile defenses by maneuvering in flight. You typically need to launch multiple interceptors for every rocket you want to counter. Even with unsophisticated munitions, it is a numbers game that favors the offense
The Iron Dome makes sense for Israel, a very small country whose indirect fires threat is mostly from slow-moving and cheap rockets, but less sense for larger countries facing better-equipped adversaries.
