The purpose of Deseret Nationalism is to create a Mormon ethnostate, or deseretian ethnostate, made up of those from the "deseretian" ethnic group (those descended from Mormon pioneers). Ultimate desire of many to create a theodemocracy in the State of Deseret, proposed in 1849.

#DezNat is known for its hateful, racist, antisemitic, anti-feminist, anti-LGBTQ+ & other offensive content.

It is a loose online network of mostly Mormons @Ch_JesusChrist who use the hashtag.

Supporters of #DezNat are known to appropriate racist messages to troll other Latter-day Saints (Mormons), ex-members, and those they deem "apostates."

It should be noted that not all those that use the #DezNat hashtag actually support Deseret Nationalism. Many people use the hashtag when referring to or interacting with Deseret Nationalists and so CONTEXT is key before labeling someone "DezNat."

Next, we will begin releasing our research on #DezNat (Deseret Nationalist) accounts. This is the culmination of months of research. Many of the og members came from the PUA, gamergate, manosphere, and white nationalist circles.
