an EPA lawyer just called me to ask me to call off a FOIA request i made in 2017 (!) that was never honored. it was about a smear campaign the EPA conducted about an AP reporter during Hurricane Harvey. they may be "drowning" in the backlog but im not calling it off
they may be inundated by a reckless administration's stonewalling but the solution is not to cajole people into dropping their FOIA requests
