Pop-up testing (antigen testing) is for asymptomatic people over 16 who have not been to the potential COVID exposure sites (see next tweet); results usually within 20 minutes.
Here's the updated map of potential exposure sites. You can zoom in and click on the coronavirus icons to get details about each site: google.com/maps/d/u/0/edi…
And here's the list of bus routes & flights with active potential exposure advisories. Note that for the first time there are Cape Breton Transit routes on the list: halifaxexaminer.ca/featured/here-…
People who are symptomatic, have travelled, been to a potential exposure site, or been directed to get a test because they are a close contact of a known case, should schedule a PCR test at a primary assessment centre: nshealth.ca/coronavirustes…
Asymptomatic people can also get a PCR test at the primary assessment centres; results are usually within 48 hours, and people are telling me there has recently been a very quick turn-around on results. nshealth.ca/coronavirustes…
The pop-up testing sites are staffed primarily by volunteers. If you would like to volunteer (no medical experience necessary), you can sign up here: docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAI…
