Why I stopped listening to Alex Jones (Warning, this may be a thread)

1. He was ripping off Q posts and got caught doing it.

2. Jesus Rafael Quintana In A Bowling Alley, Alex, do your guests EVER get to speak without you running them over?

3. This is the big one (Next Post)
During one particular episode, he went into his usual hysteria and, by that time, I was already burned smooth out on it.

But then he starts sobbing. I mean he turns into a blubbering mess. I'm on my way to work and I stop because this was new to me. I'd never heard this before.
I thought he was going to drop a bomb on air and he did. He sobbingly claimed that he knew how bad things were. He claimed he couldn't tell us because we wouldn't be able to handle it.

That's when I turned him off, deleted the app and turned on the music.
It's like this. If things are bad, I can't fix them if I don't know how bad they are. If you're going to pound your pulpit and proclaim that I as an individual need to band together with others, rally around a cause and do something, then what the hell am I going to do
if I don't know where to put my hands in to start the work? At the time I worked in a job where people would come in, claim their computer isn't working and wouldn't give me a single symptom of the problem. All I ever got when I asked questions was "Dunno...it's just not working"
Then they wondered what took so long. I mean, it's pretty simple in terms of an equation to figure out. If something's broken and I have to be among the repair team, I need to know what's broken so that I can begin to make those repairs. Anything else, it's going to take longer
to make those repairs. As for what I can and cannot handle, I'll decide that. Me. Not you. If you want to be The Grand Poo-Bah And Gatekeeper of The Most Secretest Knowledge Evar, fine

But you do it alone.
It's not that we didn't listen to Jones. Some of us did. Some of us got tired of him constantly blowing up.

@JohnBWellsCTM, by comparison can get a little incendiary and barbed at times. He stops himself. Sometimes, I wish he wouldn't. That man is in his truth, uses his brain
whether I agree or disagree on any given topic, he does put it out there, leaves it there and leaves it up to you while urging you to come with him on the journey, not follow him blindly.
Let's take Jones up on another issue. Years ago he said this about @DavidIcke_ when he talked about Conspiracies and Reptilian/Human, transdimensional aliens:

Fast forward to now...:

Doesn't seem he can figure out where he stands. This is why I, personally, stopped listening to him. Now, listen, on that last bit where he's talking about us being spirits driving a human body, I agree. I tell you that every day in the readings
but even he can't seem to make up his mind here. The primary thing is, Alex, I can handle things. Maybe not in the moment. Maybe certain things will horrify me but when I meditate and channel, I'll figure out what it is I can do and put my abilities to fill in a gap somewhere.
I don't need a gatekeeper. If you're going to act like one, I'm good with never listening to you. Listening to people claiming to be gatekeepers has always gotten me into trouble. I'm done with that.

That's why I stopped listening.

Final Point:

So #4: William Milton Cooper predicted 9/11/01 before Jones. Jones may have plagiarized Cooper's work. Not saying he did but I am saying that I don't know for certain.

Another thread, If you want to read, great, if not, that's okay too but here goes.

I'm going to surprise you with something. Yes, I own this. This is mine. There are many others like it but this one is mine, as is said in Full Metal Jacket: Image
So why am I bringing that up along with my Kindle laying next to it? The answer is simple. It is to make a point, and it's one I've made many times. I Do Not Support Book Burning/Content Bans.

It's my understanding that, for many of you following me,
you have an affinity or a love for this work and, surprise again, I understand it. Completely. Whether or not I have issues with the text should never be your problem. I've owned this one for many years, I also have digital copies that would be suitable for any denomination
