**THREAD** I call BULLSHIT on the most recent statement released by the Martin Bashir camp on the role they played in killing Michael Jackson.

Bashir and ITV BOTH share responsibility in Jackson’s death!

Bashir started grooming Jackson in 2002 by painting a picture of how pleased Jackson’s friend, Princess Diana, was with the Bashir interview. To gain MJ’s trust, Bashir claimed that he was close friends with Diana and that when offered a large sum of cash to betray her he didn’t.

But there were other promises made to MJ to get and keep him onboard with the documentary. These promises included, but may not be limited to the following: focusing the documentary on Jackson’s humanitarian efforts, creative control of editing film, and avoiding certain topics.

So just like the start of MJ’s relationship with Bashir, the start of the recent statement above isn’t completely transparent. The statement made claims that Jackson signed two contracts? But did he really? With claims of forgery it’s a genuine question.

We already know from court transcripts that there were some discrepancies with portions of these contracts.

Also, the first part of the statement says that Bashir was accompanied by a production crew, but fails to mention that MJ had his cameras rolling too. It was MJ’s cameras that caught the two-faced, manipulative Bashir praising Jackson.

The second part of the statement goes on to blame Jackson for going to court because he had faced similar allegations before. And then, I’m not so many words, says “oh but all is good because he was acquitted.”

It fails to mention that Bashir’s deceptive editing, backstabbing narration, and interview requests(like telling Gavin to lay his head on MJ) was the catalyst for it all!

Finally, the statement attempts to blame MJ for the negative publicity that the documentary received because “admitted” to sleeping in bed with a child. More deceptive bullshit! It does not mention that in the documentary MJ only admitted to sharing a bed with the Culkins.

This statement intentionally omitted that Jackson and the accuser both stated that Jackson did slept on the floor, not sharing a bed with the accuser, to make it appear that any resulting trial was Jackson fault.

Bashir and ITV is partially responsible for Jackson’s paranoia, that led to even more severe insomnia, that led to poor choices to get to sleep. Have you ever been falsely accused of child abuse? Faced a trial, that stemmed from this documentary, that lasted months

Jackson didn’t interview himself, he also didn’t agree to the terms of the documentary released, he was groomed to trust a man who never did have his best interest at heart and was taken advantage of. What a miscarriage of justice and journalistic integrity.
