In interviews, more than half a dozen former DeSantis campaign advisers and early administration staffers say Gaetz had huge influence over DeSantis, who in the run-up to his gubernatorial campaign was an outsider in state-level Florida politics. That was a world where Gaetz had
long been an operator. Now, as DeSantis runs for reelection and is likely laying the groundwork for a 2024 presidential run, he has all-but turned his back on Gaetz.”
“DeSantis’ ties to Gaetz could pressure the governor to answer difficult questions about whether he was aware of any alleged wrongdoing as he seeks a second term as governor and possibly the White House. As an adviser, Gaetz urged the governor to appoint several people who are
also now ensnared in the federal investigation. Gaetz was also close friends with Joel Greenberg, the man at the center of a federal investigation into sex trafficking.”
“Gaetz continued to advise DeSantis after he won the gubernatorial election in Nov. 2018. Gaetz drafted early administration organizational charts, helped steer early policy decisions and played a huge role in DeSantis' appointments, including pushing to get key appointments
for friends now tied to the federal sex trafficking probe.”

DeSantis and his alt-right buddy James O’Keefe of Project Veritas smiling when gloating after questioned about whether the bill was for Trump who was banned from all social media
O'Keefe was suspended from Twitter for violating its policies a couple weeks ago. Today, he joined stage with DeSantis, who signed bill going after Twitter and other social media companies. I'm confused how using Government money to attack private companies is Republican
“The subpoena, as well as Greenberg’s cooperation with prosecutors, appears to increase the legal peril the congressman is facing.”
“12/28/20 subpoena states grand jury is investigating alleged crimes “involving commercial sex acts with adult and minor women, as well as obstruction of justice” & seeks any communications, documents, recordings & payments the individual had with Ellicott, Gaetz and Greenberg
DeSantis' law new law defines "riot" as follows:
"A person commits a riot if he or she willfully participates in a violent public disturbance involving an assembly of three or more persons, acting with a common intent to assist each other in violent and disorderly conduct,
resulting in: (a) Injury to another person; (b) Damage
Damage to property; or (c) Imminent danger of injury to another person or damage to property."
It goes on to say it does not prohibit constitutionally protected activity such as as peaceful protest.
This law is vague, ambiguous, unnecessary and unconstitutional and should be attacked and struck down immediately.
