I struggled to build an audience back in 2020.

In less than a month, I went over 1000 followers.

Here's 7 learnings to help you grow on Twitter.

(Thread) Image
1. Tweet Consistently

Consistency is more important than perfection. I tweeted every day ever since I came back to Twitter.
2. Use Anaphora

Anaphora helps to hook your audience attention by repeating a specific word or phrase at the beginning of a line or passage.

3. Use Visuals

Visuals play an instrumental role in generating greater interest. Use them well.

4. Ask Questions

Questions are great conversation starter, you can better engage with your audience and also bring in new audience to the conversation.

5. Share Achievements

Share your achievements whether big or small with your audience, and let them feel like they are part of your journey.

6. Create Polls

Polls played a big part in keeping my audience engaged, while helping me to understand my audience better.

7. Create Gifts

Everyone loves freebies and discounts. Send a gift to thank your audience for their support.

That's all for the thread.

If you found this helpful, please:
1. Retweet the first tweet
2. Follow me @heyeaslo

P.S. I've a mystery gift for a random person who retweets the first tweet. 🎁
