I just crossed 5000 sales for @NotionHQ templates.
Here’s 8 things I wish I had known when I started:
Join the community
Be part of the @NotionHQ community on Reddit, Facebook of Discord from the very beginning. Start connecting with your audience early and make some friends.
Ask for feedbacks
Getting feedbacks from friends and the community has helped me improved the quality of my @NotionHQ templates. Stop building in silence.
Start small
Your target audience should not be everyone. Start with building your @NotionHQ product for a small group of audience.
Keep a inspiration board
I use @Pinterest as a space for inspiration for my planners and templates. You will never get stuck for ideas again.
One social platform at a time
In the beginning, I tried to keep up with sharing @NotionHQ content on Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. I found myself growing faster when I put more focus to one platform at a time.
Create templates for yourself
Improve your @NotionHQ creation process with templates. Find repeatable steps and make it into a template or something you can easily duplicate.
Use visuals and mock-ups
Creating mock-ups for my @NotionHQ templates has drastically improved attention for my products. You don’t need to be graphic designer. Just Google for free mock-up for @figmadesign@sketch or @Photoshop
Launch multiple times
I doubled the sales after sharing a @NotionHQ template from few months back. There’s always new audiences who want your product, so share it again.
Lastly, enjoy your journey.
If you found this helpful, do share it with your friends or save it for later.
