5 Ways to Develop Laser-Like Focus

// THREAD //
Bruce Lee once said, "The successful warrior is the average man with laser-like focus."

That means no succesful story is complete without focus.

So here are 5 ways by which you can develop laser-like focus 👇

(BONUS POINT IN THE END)
1) Set up your day the night before.

Before you go to sleep, make some basic decisions about what you will do tomorrow.

Try to schedule your day by setting small goals for yourself.

This activity will tell your brain what you have to do and ultimately increase your focus.
2) Do the most difficult things first.

The most difficult duties will not get easier by delaying them.

The more you put them off, the more energy of yours will be wasted.

So always try to do the most difficult and most important work first.

Use your energy and time wisely.
3) Stop multitasking.

A lot of people think that multitasking is good but it's not true.

Multitasking not only exhaust your energy and decrease your focus but it also lowers your productivity.

So focus on doing one thing at a time and give your 100% to it.
4) Take time to regenerate.

With your busy schedule, it’s hard to take time out for yourself, but regenerating yourself is important for maintaining focus.

When you feel your energy begin to fade, you'll find that your ability to focus will decrease along with it.
So try to have short breaks during your work.

Have some healthy food and listen to some motivational podcasts or read something good.

But don't waste much time. After 10-15 mins return back to your work.
5) Eliminate distractions and time wasters.

The biggest killers of focus are your distractions.

Checking your phone frequently, browsing through the internet without any reason and checking social media again and again kills your focus.
Eliminate these distractions before it's too late.

Ways to eliminate:

- Whenever you are doing the work, either keep your phone aside or silent it.

- Turn off unwanted notifications.

- Turn off your internet so that your phone doesn't vibrate again and again.
BONUS POINT:

The two most underrated thing for developing focus are exercise and meditation.

These things not only keeps your body and mind fit but they also helps in increasing your focus.

So everyday exercise for atleast 20 mins and meditate for atleast 10 mins.
