The $KSM parachain auction is on the verge now & all is looking forward to seeing it. The preparation for the parachain rollout has come to the final steps. Despite the fact that the market is in a correction phase, DOT's projects are still busy preparing for the auction on KSM
Last week, the ecosystem has welcomed a lot of good news from different projects including the launching of new canary network & product, the closing of financing round.

Let’s together summarize severals highlights of last week and wait for more new updates in the near future.
1/@current - a leading U.S. financial technology company has partnered with @AcalaNetwork . The partnership has brought Hybrid Finance (HyFi) combining both traditional and decentralized financial applications.

2/The @MoonbeamNetwork Foundation has released new information about the Moonriver Crowdloan. "
3/ @ShidenNetwork Shell chain is successfully deployed locally and ready to launch on Kusama Network
4/ @Kiltprotocol announced the launching of @social_kyc - a decentralised identity verification service.
5/ As the canary network of @chainx_org , SherpaX will participate in the auction of the Kusama slot and access Kusama as a parachain.
6/ Clover just announced Clover wallet mobile app is already in development mode & they also released Sakura - @clover_finance Canary Network
7/ @hydra_dx introducing Basilisk - their sister network.
Basilisk allows Liquidity Bootstrapping for the Omnipool.
Basilisk will go for a Kusama network Parachain Slot and will have its own $BSX token."
8/ "The @GenshiroDeFi lockdrops will go live on May 27th! Lock 1 $EQ with 10 $GENS and get a bonus up to 30%."
9/ @PhalaNetwork added a new dashboard for the Khala launch process on Github.

#3 Moonriver - A canary network of @MoonbeamNetwork

Moonriver is the Kusama Implementation of the Moonbeam. It is like a place to test & deploy new technologies to see if it is stable enough to be deployed on the Moonbeam parachain on Polkadot
2/ Earlier Launch, Earlier Access
Since Kusama will enable parachain functionality in the first half of 2021, the Moonriver network will be able to deploy as a parachain before Moonbeam deploys to Polkadot.
2-2/That means developers will have earlier access to Moonriver to start building, experimenting & launching, & other participants will be able to access DApps & assets on that chain.
