"10 Reasons Why You Fail"

🧵 THREAD TIME: 👇
From each failure, we learn two equally valuable lessons. One, that there was at least one reason we failed; & two, that we can rebound from that failure.

In the following you can find the 10 most important reasons why you fail in life & what you can do to be successful instead.
1. Lack of Persistence

More people fail not because they lack knowledge or talent but because they just quit.

It’s important to remember two words:

persistence and resistance. Persist in what must be done and resist what ought not to be done.
2. Lack of Discipline

Anyone who has accomplished anything worthwhile has never done it without discipline.

Discipline takes self-control, sacrifice, and avoiding distractions and temptations. It means staying focused.
3. Rationalization

Winners might analyze, but they never rationalize. Losers rationalize have a book full of excuses to tell u why they couldn’t succeed.

Don’t think of every unsuccessful attempt as a failure. Do your best to learn everything you can about what happened & why.
4. Poor Self-Esteem

Poor self-esteem is a lack of self-respect.
People with low self-confidence are constantly trying to find themselves rather than creating the person they want to be.

Don’t label yourself. You might have failed, but you’re not a failure until you stop trying.
5. Fatalistic Attitude

A fatalistic attitude prevents people from accepting responsibility for their position in life.
They attribute success and failure to luck. They resign themselves to their fate, regardless of their efforts.

Look in the mirror and say, I am in charge.
6. Lack of planning

If u don’t have a proper plan, u are less likely to succeed in life.

It doesn’t matter if things are not going to work out exactly as planned. All that matters is that u have a plan. It will help u to steer all ur actions in one direction.
7. Fear of failure

Being afraid of failure paralyzes us. It makes us reluctant to seize rewarding opportunities.

We fear failure, which is why we don’t even try.

But isn’t that the greatest failure of all? Isn’t not trying worse than failing?
8. Unwillingness to network

You’ll miss quite a number of opportunities if u don’t invest time to build strong relationships with those who can help u.

Many underestimate the importance of networking. Networking helps us to meet those ppl whose interests align with our own.
9. Inclination to give up

Giving up automatically leads to failure. Unsuccessful people tend to give up way too easily.

They fail almost always because they simply didn’t try hard enough. They dream of succeeding smoothly without too much effort.
10. Procrastination

When it comes to procrastination, there are two types of challenges.
The first problem many people are confronted with is that they simply cannot get started.
They procrastinate for hours because they try to keep putting something off.
The second problem may arise as soon as people are confronted with difficulties or problems.

The occurrence of these kinds of challenges leads many people to procrastinate instead of working toward solving the problem.
