Look into Identity — the literal Neo Nazi interpretation of Christianity which teaches that:

- “Aryans” are the lost tribes of Israel
- Jews are Satan’s children (from Eve and the serpent)
- minorities aren’t human
- believers are obligated to spark race war for Jesus
As always, a preemptive warning that will doubtlessly go ignored:
The first Tweet in the QT thread implies (imo) that antisemitism is a result of conspiracy theories in the Black community at large — vs. the extremely small fringe Black group “the Black Israelites.”

Christian Identity (Neo Nazi Christianity) is older and far more dangerous.
Christian Identity Movement is rooted in British Israelism (philosemitic), which transformed into a virulently antisemitic theology in the US.

CI (literally Neo Nazi Jesus) has played a major foundational role in the American white supremacist movement violence since WWII.
Lots to say about this Tweet, which prompted the thread.

White supremacists — Christians and non — have long viewed the Civil Rights Struggle as a Communist and Jewish plot to destroy white supremacy by manipulating Black Americans.

That fact is key.

Image
Antisemitism in Black American religion has never come anywhere close to the outrageous level of white Christians — both overt white supremacists and non.

Not by a long shot.

“50% over the last 2.5 years” presents a remarkably distorted picture of the problem. Image
Take just one case among many:

The assassination of Martin Luther King, Jr. is linked to both white supremacist police and Christian Identity (Neo Nazi Jesus) Movement actors.

Read @wexlerwriting’s incredible book, “America’s Secret Jihad” for details.
Bruce Hoffman was one of the first to recognize the enormous danger posed by white supremacist Christian Identity.

By 1988, CI was linked to every single far right extremist organization in the United States.

Every. Single. One.
White supremacist, antisemitic Christians pioneered the use of Internet technology for political violence...

...well over a decade before Al Qaeda.
There’s another reason related to Christian Identity that demonstrates why the numbers here are extremely misleading in painting an inaccurate image of Black antisemitism as more dangerous.

White supremacists have long used infiltration as a strategy. Image
“50% of antisemitic murders were committed by Black perpetrators” assumes homicide is the bar for “bad,” ignoring:

1) more insidious covert (harder to combat) violence & oppression
2) white supremacist infiltration strategy (especially Christian Identity post-93)

Exhibit:
White supremacists used the name “Christian Identity Movement” as a smokescreen to better enable violent, racist, antisemitic theology via plausible deniability.

Rockwell (American Nazi Party founder) saw the name as a great way to recruit unsuspecting “idiots” on the sly.
After the post-Ruby Ridge white supremacist summit (the origin of the modern militia movement), Christian Identity leaders embraced a more covert approach in the interests of mainstreaming.

Pete Peters told followers to “be as wise as serpents” and drop the CI label to “pass.”
Recap:

White supremacist Christians have long engaged in covert infiltration of establishment jobs — like the State Department, military, police, and law — alongside efforts to gradually mainstream vile, antisemitic, racist, genocidal religion.
Back to the problematic Tweet in question.

In addition to overt white supremacists like CI, evangelical Christian “I’m not racist” Zionism (overwhelmingly white) is another dangerous and abhorrently antisemitic ideology.

Image
In sum:

Misleading statistics about Black antisemitism are harmful.

A fringe group like the Black Israelites has never - and will never - come anywhere near the dangerous antisemitism of white American Christians —

— overt white supremacists and evangelicals alike.
I really need a better outlet for migraine-induced insomnia other than writing about violent bigoted ideology
Relevant and interesting thread by an ex-Christian Identity member on antisemitism, Israel, conspiratorial culture and white supremacy:
Anyway, to sum my rant up:

Personally, I think drawing on 2/4 in 2.5 years to argue that Black antisemitism is indicative of broader Black conspiratorial religious tendencies (whatever the hell that even means) is…

…heinously racist.

[but maybe that’s just me] Image

Sam Kavanaugh was my student!

He’s not just super smart. He’s a throughly wonderful person and was an absolute blast to ‘teach.’

SO PROUD
Turns out he’s on Twitter, and follows me apparently — but HE NEVER SAID ANYTHING SO I JUST NOTICED WHEN I LOOKED HIM UP

Give him a follow!
I’m now trying to find the episode to confirm he didn’t curse on stage, so I can debunk this slander.

I see “Ashli Babbitt” is trending, so I’m going to suggest the same game today.
Sincere apologies, outraged patriots, but I’m muting.

Thanks for proving my point without making me search through your “RIP Ashli Babbit / BLM are terrorist thugs / run them over, police” timelines, though.

Carry on loving JESUS, your grand babies, freedom, and “being kind.”

Y’all need to stop letting literal white supremacists define the narrative. Be. Clear.

The “white genocide” conspiracy theory isn’t some obscure, belief of the West Point Board appointee.

One of its biggest proponents: David Lane, Order member and Neo Nazi murderer.
- American Nazi Party founder Rockwell and his predecessors talked about this idea in the 60s.
- David Lane titled his manifesto “White Genocide” in the 80s.
- Brenton Tarrant called his murder manifesto “The Great Replacement” 2 years ago.

West Point Board guy is a Nazi.
The language used by @CNN here is dangerously euphemistic.

“White genocide / replacement theory” isn’t a new, Biden-era phenomenon. It’s been championed by Neo Nazis for over half a century.

Call. It. By. Its. Name.

Eve Barlow is a takfiri? Image
This excommunication nonsense over Palestine/Israel is heinously inflammatory.

And yes — I’d say the same thing if a Muslim pronounced takfir for inadequate pro-Palestinian support.

In Islam (I assume for Judaism, too), takfir is a major no-no… BECAUSE HUMANS AREN’T GOD.
Calling her “Eve Fartlow” is immature and stupid.

But it’s even stupider (for her) — and dear God how offensive - to compare getting called “Eve Fartlow” online with:

- water boarding
- lynching
- actual pogroms ImageImage

You need to read more Israeli history then -- because what you're saying is utterly dishonest.
Ironically, this was a reply to a Tweet calling for moral consistency in discussion of Palestine/Israel.
(That’s one of the many problems with the label “extremist.” Everyone defines it as “antithesis of my own views.”)

This monster just turned 9…MONTHS old.

I swear to God my dreams of accomplishing work will die a painful death by the time he’s a year and a half, tops.
Wish me luck.
