BJP always searches for chief executives or opportunists on lifetime settlement plans from other parties in states where they could not find suitable jokers within.
BJP is a closely held Private Company owned by the RSS family. It periodically appoints CEOs to widen its base.
/1
The company builds platonic relationships with outsiders. Some clever and cunning associates steal copyrights to build their small islands.
They start mimicking BJP company head Modi with advertisements in the media. They also distribute public funds for their survival.
/2
But to be fair, ambition is not sole privilege of old politicians, political families, and hate brigades.
Like Modi/ RSS, Kejriwal also searches for CEOs, bureaucrats, actors with a ready image in all states. Aam Aadmi could not find Khas Aadmis. But he has a right to dream.

Congress still tries a version of democracy, a weak one to match its party.
A typical example is that of the recent Kerala elections. The seniors got pumped up before elections on steroids, but their chest burst after it. Still, they wanted to continue their hold on to power.
/4
We have to understand these old veterans. They may die but their spirit and ambition for ‘public service’ never dies.
Most of their old comrades are blind to the fact that every vehicle one travels, whether political or mechanical, has its life cycle of utility.
/5
It is a mistake of Congress. I am reminded about a Hero Honda advertisement of 1980s when the CD 100 motorcycle came with the punchline “Fill it. Shut it. Forget it”.
Congress tends to delegate and forget in its version of democracy. Should it not refill and run for survival?
/6
Proactive action is a serious business; it does not suit the free for all model of Congress. They say ‘see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’.
But serious self-analysis is part of the democratic process. That energy boost is to wait for its regaining health if it happens.

The above are excerpts of my new blog post: 'Democracy has become a joke'
Subhead: 'Pvt. Companies or Political parties?'
The frenzied and fancied activities in the political field or the social media by the opposition, its supporters, sympathisers produced nothing in effect when one goes by the results in Bengal.
BJP could retain its vote share despite its total failures and hostile atmosphere.
/1
There is much to learn from defeats and victories which are often overlooked.
The opposition parties and also their active supporters in social media need to undergo a course of brainstorming and self-analysis.
Their potential may be getting wasted by the wrong approach.
/2
The political parties may do post facto analysis which is an internal process.
They will come out blaming strong winds, depressions, storms and settle in their routines without much of the inconvenient, exhaustive exercises of brainstorming sessions to rectify their mistakes.
/3
The churning of the ‘ocean of milk’ for ‘purification’ of the political system started by Anna ended up in the release of poisonous, opportunistic political elements.
They usurped power exploiting the weaknesses of people and the system, destroying democracy.
/1
Even after 7 years, all sane citizens of this country are still dazed and yet to regain consciousness.
The lies, propaganda of Fascist polluted the atmosphere using the pliable media.
The ignorant and unsophisticated people continue to be so with no way of knowing the truth.
/2
Congress and opposition leaders should get out of their bed and see the world.
It appears as if they were in a state of coma during this period and have not still registered what has happened to the people.
There is some limb and lip movement here and there. Are they enough?
/3
Modi, Shah, BJP, RSS and all their wings, groups use double-edged swords.
If they make risky manoeuvres they will hurt themselves. It perforates the perception among people.
Still, if they are indulging in it, it shows their nervousness, desperation and fear of losing the war.
/1
They are aware that the majority of Indians are not communal. The divisive, communal base they created is not growing anymore. Instead, it is declining overall, more due to Modi’s failures and misadventures.
So their tactics are turning more overtly aggressive and unethical.
/2
Their awkward and arrogant aggression started with article 370, Ram Mandir, CAA and the suppression of that agitation. It continued with farmers’ issues, snatching powers of the Delhi government. Now immediately after the loss in Bengal, they continue fighting for every inch.
/3
The octopus of Modi, Shah, RSS is in a tearing hurry to spread their tentacles and gobble up still ignorant individuals, groups, parties and the country.
The opposition search for a more aggressive version of an authoritarian to neutralise them with the same tricks, tactics.
/1
It is more like creating a vaccine from the virus to fight it out. But before we could complete our research, the strain changes.
The opposition with its limited resources could have opted for a proper response mechanism to prevent and protect themselves from the virus.
/2
Neither patience nor impatience is going to help. People went on the wrong track to believe Modi & Co in 2014. He exploited the weakness and impatience of people to secure a 5-year term and extracted an extension in 2019 misusing all his powers. Now people are suffering.

Some of the congress leaders are sure that Rahul cannot lead Congress to power.
We are always certain about what others cannot do. We are not so sure or ignore what we cannot do.
Now let us ask some questions.
Who is the alternative to Rahul, Gandhi family to lead Congress?
/1
In many states, they only have a mere presence with diehard cadres and supporters. Congress has to undertake the job to revive, strengthen it all over the country. They cannot do it without organisational reconstruction and resurrection. There is no one visible except Rahul.
/2
The group culture has taken roots and will not go away so easily. These groups within led to the destruction of the party.
Congress cannot survive anymore unless these groups are eliminated.
A new leader can only emerge with their support and cannot neutralise these groups.
