My psychiatrist loved doing telehealth and hoped he could keep doing it, said it worked great for most of his patients & he could spend more time with those who needed it most.
I just have a 4-6 week 20 minute checkin with him. It works great. Only option used to be a one hour appt at the hospital, excluding travel either way.
Also/tangent: normalize dentists who discreetly remind you that you can totally listen to your music during your appointment, extra points if they have spare headphones to borrow.
Back to accessible alternatives, in retail at least, please don’t get rid of online ordering and curbside pickup. Everyone benefits from it.
