Again, the United Arab Emirates understand they have to allow the sale of alcohol, cigarettes, sex toy shops etc to attract western tourists.

They earn BILLIONS OF DOLLARS in revenue yearly.

Some of you know nothing than religion and want to remain in abject poverty. SMH 🤦🏾‍♂️
Religion as practiced in Nigeria is mainly used to subjugate the poor and promote political interests.

Open your eyes and enjoy and life. Rich people are having fun.

You are the only one tying morality around your neck and carrying religion on your head with osuka. Wake up.
Do you want to become a rich and peaceful state or you want to remain in abject poverty and eat religion? Guess what, that religion cannot even feed you. I hope you open your eyes and brain. Examples are not even far off. Look at what religion has done to some states. Think.
Instead of building schools and libraries, they invested in places of worship.

The results are clear. Educationally backward. Poverty. Violence. And insurgency.

Deal with the current problems you have. Don’t introduce more with religion.

In 2019, I invested in a property that has now appreciated by almost £40,000 (N26M) in just 2 years. Currently, I am in talks with a very good friend of mine about buying another rental property (a flat) worth £175,000 in an area populated by students.
For upwardly mobile professionals, real estate is generally a great investment option. It can help generate passive income on a yearly basis. It can also be a fantastic long-term investment if you buy in a great location and the value increases overtime like mine has done.
Investing in real estate can help you build wealth. You can make profit through rental income (people will always need a place to live) and appreciation of the value of the property.

Thread on negotiating your salary for your first job, a new role, or a promotion. Please follow this. And share.
A study by Linda Babcock found that only about 7% of women attempted to negotiate their first salary, while 57% of men did. And for those who negotiated, they were able to increase their salary by at least 7%. This thread should help you prepare for negotiation.
KNOW HOW MUCH YOU ARE WORTH: Before having a discussion per salary negotiation, you need to work out your value in the industry. Your value will be dependent on factors such as your skills, capabilities, competencies, qualifications, and years of experience in the industry.

Last year, I was invited to a panel on Human Capital and Workforce Productivity by the Nigerian Economic Summit Group (NESG) in Abuja.
I remember vividly that the NESG noted in one of their main working papers that Nigeria’s economic prosperity depends largely on strategically identifying specific industries with a competitive advantage to unleash economic opportunities and fast-track economic development.
Thus, when I saw this article (businessday.ng/news/article/n…)on what @HerbertOWigwe, CEO of @myaccessbank and the entire management team are doing it really made me glad.

They must be commended for being very strategic, taking the initiative, and investing in the Creative Industry.
