Can I recommend you do not buy a property in the Madison building on Marsh Wall, Isle of Dogs / Canary Wharf London UK E14
There are endemic build quality problems in the building (1st residents moved in last November)
-Lifts routinely fail (last 14 hr)

-Internal noise from building movement
-Internal door locks removed as keep jamming (only fire exit!)
-Leaks when rains
-Rubbish chute does not work
I sent a 7-page detailed email a month ago to the Council, 1st 2 pages in pics
It has got worse since then
Part of the problem

is that building under construction on top floors while people live in floors 2 to 15 (Amory Tower)
These are the affordable homes managed! by @networkhomesuk housing association
They are not managing this well
Who will take responsibility

or pass the buck as not clear?
Some of these issues maybe fixed once construction complete & concierge staff 247 on site
Some linked to affordable section
But placing people in unsafe building & failing to manage it for months suggest issues long term

TH Council do not want to get involved in issues like this
But many of residents bid for properties in building via TH Council housing system, we have duty of care
But if the Council unwilling (Mayor was copied into email) to intervene or to learn lessons for the future

e.g. DO NOT place residents in an incomplete unstaffed building under construction
Then I think on balance you should not buy new build in Tower Hamlets (although many of causes national)

I am publicising now as my attempts to fix this via the Council not working
Residents are suffering
Problems not being fixed, lifts in 15 storey building (have not worked for last 14 hours)
Building is 53 storeys in total!
