1. Toddlers are next-level crackheads.

One of the main purposes of their life is to stick their finger into the wall socket and electrocute themselves. So, when you prevent them from doing this, they perceive you as their enemy.
2. Anyone with more than 2 brain cells will know that sticking one's finger into the wall socket will electrocute them but who will tell that to toddlers?
3. Suppose, you meet a toddler who is neither your relative nor an acquaintance, and he is trying to stick his finger into the wall socket while his mother is busy with something else, will you intervene?
4. 10/10 times people will intervene if they will see a toddler trying to harm themselves probably because all of us have innate affection towards toddlers, probably because we see them as innocent vulnerable creatures that need to be protected at all costs.
5. In pursuit of saving them we might even end up hurting ourselves

Allah calls himself AL-WADUD The Ever-Affectionate, his love neither stops nor ceases, and we can never measure his love for us.
6. During the phase of our lives where we are trying to electrocute ourselves, Allah pushes us away from the wall socket and we start to cry because life doesn’t seem to be fair.
7. We were so close to the socket, we had even lifted our finger to be stuck into one of the holes, and suddenly something happened and we found that wall socket farther than it has ever been.
8. Then you see another toddler succeeding in sticking his finger into a wall socket, satisfying his inner desires.
All of this happened right in front of you, that toddler didn’t die!
9. If you are a grown-up and witness a toddler sticking his finger up the wall socket and is still breathing, you will term that as nothing short of a miracle because luckily the socket was not operational but for another toddler, it will seem that life isn’t fair.
10. Allah’s love for us is much much more than that of a stranger trying to save a toddler from electrocuting themselves.
And sometimes in the future, if someone reminds that toddler how you prevented them from sticking their finger up the socket, they will not ask why?
11. Because by that time they’d have enough wisdom to understand how fatal that might have been, they will feel stupid and thank you for saving their life.
12. Similarly, sometime in the future, when life or the afterlife will remind us of how we tried to electrocute ourselves and Allah prevented it, we will have nothing but praise for Allah.

1. In Kashmiri, we have this term Gaenz Nass.

For those who don’t know the origins, GaenzKhod is a certain place in Srinagar which is famous for animal-hides.
2. So, naturally, that place stinks like anything. If you pass by that place, you can barely stand the smell then what about people living there?
There is this famous story that, one household there got a new daughter-in-law who complained about the smell.
3. During her initial days, she used to roam around covering her face which was a sight of embarrassment when her kith and kin visited her.
So, she took the matter into her own hands and regularly cleaned the place.

Most of you guys have messed up parents and it shows.

Please don't beat yourself up thinking that you're messed up because you've failed at life, your parents failed at parenting.
Families are crucibles of nurture and love, growing up without love is as good as growing up abused.

As they say, Our body keeps score of both physical and mental scars.
To anyone out there who has been brought up in a broken home, you are really strong, stronger than most of us.
You didn't choose this fight, you might have lost the natural lottery but you're winning just by surviving.
InShaAllah Khair
