*Agra Hospital Case - Patient Bill Forgery & Dead Body Detained*
(1/11) My mother Amita Singhal, was admitted in @synergyplushosp on 28 April'21 complaining high symptoms of COVID-19.Cashless Insurance policy of 20 lacs by @StarHealthIns

(2/11)was handed over for catering to treatment expenses. We were told at 9:40am on 25 May'21 that she passed away during treatment. Repeated requests were made to hand over the body for final rights and somone from family can clear the bill in Interim, we were threatened & told

(3/11) without the final payment they would not even allow the body to step out of the Hospital. Frightened my family that the Hospital doesn't do any harm to my mother's body, with hands folded we pleaded Hospital authorities until 5:30pm (8hrs from the death of the patient)

(4/11) to please process the bills to Insurance company or take a cheque from me as security of my final bill clearance such that I can do the final rights of my mother. We were pushed out of the room.
#MentalHarrasment from Hospital authorities continued.

(5/11) We made a complaint to local authorities at 5:30pm. This is when Hospital raised a bill.

Hospital bill - 15.5 lacs,
Medicines bill - 6.75 lacs that to when all the expensive injections & medicines and all surgical items were purchased from our pocket.

2 different bills were raised for same patient,1 for Cash & another for Insurance. At 6:30pm(9hrs from death),cheque of 12 lacs had been taken from us apart from 1.9 lacs which they had asked for despite of Cashless policy, then only body was handed over to us.

(7/11) Mother's Body was oozing blood from Nose, Mouth so much that the entire body was in blood as it was kept in a very high temperature. Body had turned black such that it was difficult to identify and comprehend that the death happened on the same day or 4-5 days before.

(8/11) Such was the Horrific deed done by the Hospital and Doctors whom we place at the level of GOD as they are said to save lives of Humanity.Imagine their intent, as they keep Hawk's eye to extract the entire policy amount from the patient.

(9/11) My mother had all symptoms of COVID~ breathlessness,low SPO2 Level,very high fever, cold & cough, body aches, got admitted in Synergy Plus Hospital on 28th April at 1am.
No COVID test was done by the Hospital until 15 days fearing they would loose the patient.

(10/11) All the treatment that was happening was just like that.
I request the dignified authorities to take Strictest action against such brutality done by Hospital and doctors so that this horrendous act doesn't get repeated with any another citizen of my country 🙏
