Check comparison of "Covid19 deaths" data between USA and India. The speed of the wave was ferocious, undoubtedly so. But I do hope that someday folks will ask the Q'n to Indian media that damaged this war on covid by its sensational reporting, leading to run-in on resources!
Had Delhi not been hit this ferociously, media frenzy wouldn't have been that severe. India and Indians paid through the lives of their loved ones because of Indian media's obsession with Delhi & its hate for @narendramodi - pandemic reporting lacked sensitivity and objectivity!
Just check this weekly trend-wave of pandemics by nature,are meant to follow this trajectory - cases rise exponentially first & then curve starts flattening while death continues to go up before it also starts to fall. Unlike other countries, wave in India lasted close to a month
Indian media knew that and they seem to have made the best use of this time. They knew that PM @narendramodi is experienced enough to control this in time, reason why they went all out during this one month & objective was clear from the word go!
Way Indian media shifted gears thru this wave is a tell-tale sign of the real game. Giving free pass to CMs of erring states (Mah, Pb, Kerala & CG), media went after PM @narendramodi & BJP states-Check states, Gupta's journos reported from, for validation
Note 4 graphs of daily cases in India, USA, UK and Brazil- even a layman can tell you from the picture that Indian wave was shorter than all 3 other most affected countries- surely if wave of blame is with @narendramodi than credit for controlling it so fast should also be his
Indian media-in pursuance of their hate for @narendramodi has weaponised Covid19 and that is why you wont see any discussion on this huge achievement; instead, they have now shifted their discussion to vaccination- again trying to take advantage of the prevailing rush for same!
Since all data that has been used above is absolute no so I will stick to using absolute data only.
USA- 29.49 cr (169 days)
India- 20.9 cr (136 days)
Brazil-6.7 cr (135 days),
UK-6.46 cr (175 days)
Germany- 4.99 cr (157 days)
France & Italy- 3.6 cr & 3.45 cr (156 days)
Tell me what does this data of vaccination tell you and that too when whole world is reeling with shortage of vaccines ?
Check this data for the average vaccination rate: at India's present rate (although it will go up), India will add minimum 9 crores or 16 crores on maximum side in June alone- surpassing USA.
And this thread about how it was yesterday in UK / touted by Indian media as a success story 😁😁😁

SC have appropriated lot of powers, destroying constitution by interfering in Executive & legislative functions; have caused immense harm in getting things done for overall good of the country. Worst is courts don't work on set principles but based on whims n fancies of judges
SC / HCs are biggest violators of FoE - they stop anyone reporting court proceedings of matters related to misdemanours of Judges,family & whosoever they consider as one belonging to their creed. At the same time strictures against central agencies & GoI are published liberally.
Most of those comments are actually meant to create headlines and reflect the whims and fancies of individual judges - PM @narendramodi Govt would do well to bring a case to stop this practise of making headlines via court commentary

An observation: one sided media coverage of Covid19 has galvanised Modi supporters like never before. The determination,fighting spirit & tenacity amongst Modi supporters, iam witnessing now, surpasses one witnessed during pre 14 days. The anger against media is at its peak!
People are aware of the fact that any more ceding of space to media will allow them to steal the mandate given to @narendramodi -the pushback against media lies, I am witnessing from supporters is huge. Reason why this late night room started be 3 westerners saw more than 800 ppl

Polio vaccine discovered in 1955

Vaccination for polio began in right earnest on 2/10/94- 39 years after vaccine was launched.

During these 39 yrs, @RahulGandhi family ruled for 31 years, @INCIndia for 3 yrs & opposition for 5 yrs. Modi Govt vaccinated 20 cr. in 160 days!
India achieved independence in 1947 but formal immunisation program was launched by Janta party government in 1978 as “Expanded Programme of Immunisation”. Until 1978, India was ruled by @RahulGandhi family for 29 out of 31 yrs - it took a change in Govt to start this program
In short, the performance of @rahulgandhi family and his party as far as immunisation programs in the past is concerned is a tell-tale sign of their capabilities. And he should be last person to lecture us on vaccination

After @DelhiPolice , @GoI_MeitY had come out with a press release trashing @Policy saying that protecting Free speech is the domain and reserve of worlds largest democracy and its robust institutions. A for profit foreign entity should not lecture us on free speech! ImageImageImage

The larger Q is, if @Twitter is so committed then why it did not set up such a mechanism in India on its own? @TwitterIndia routinely claim that they have no authority and that they and the people of India need to escalate everything to the Twitter Headquarter in USA.

Dear @SallyBuzbee @hiattf and @PostBaron most recently - this same @bdutt most recently used her fathers unfortunate death to score brownie points by resorting to lies that were exposed by @ThePulseIndia after they tracked down the ambulance driver from the pic Dutt tweeted!
That said, I urge all three of you @SallyBuzbee @hiattf and @PostBaron to do a basic background check on this story published by your reputed paper - not only is this factually incorrect but is akin to your paper letting @bdutt use ur platform to spread fake news and propaganda
