2/4 Due to the #CTA #CommonTravelArea, Irish citizens do not need to apply for #SettledStatus but citizens from elsewhere in the EU do.
3/4 The #CTA is a long-standing agreement, pre-dating EU membership, that means British & Irish citizens can continue to live, work, study & move freely between Ireland & the U.K.(subject to any current public health restrictions) on the same basis as citizens of the other state. 
4/4 Because of the #CTA, Irish citizens do not have to apply for #SettledStatus but can do so if they wish. For more information:
