What’s wild is that it’s seeming more and more likely the politically safe scenario is the acknowledgement and push for study of the #UAP phenomenon. Game out a couple alternatives:

1) The US comes out and says “Oh yeah sike those were ours!”

In this scenario you have the US admitting to not only lying publicly, but admitting to potentially withholding technological advancements that have broader human implications as well.

This seems unwise and unforced in a political atmosphere where distrust is at ATHs.

2) “These are advanced craft that originated in (Russia/China) and are beyond our capabilities”

Unlikely at a point of geopolitical tension around Taiwan / Belarus / Ukraine, why would the US willingly expose a defensive weakness and possibly panic the population?
