Decades ago Republicans hitched their wagon to mega corporations. It was a HUGE mistake and Trump reversed it. Now Democrats are the corporate party and they’re using their control over corporate America to advance their vision, which is at the core of our social ills. (Thread)

Just look at immigration: Big Tech & other corporations push for mass migration

Critical race theory: They’re forcing CRT on all their employees

Censorship: Big Tech is the one we fear censoring us

Social issues: Drag queen burritos at Chipotle and Pronouns on Kellogg’s cereal

Corporations have too much power in America and many have amassed their power by gaming the system, paying zero taxes, intentionally running at a loss and crushing small businesses in the process to gain market share. More market share = more power.

What companies like Amazon did to become a monopoly isn’t capitalism. It’s better described as an exploitable flaw that we can and must fix if we want America to be free and prosperous. What they did undermines our ability to realize the full potential of capitalism.

The cozy relationship people like Romney had with corporate America back then clouded the judgement of many in our party and that cloudy vision contributed to the ability of companies like Amazon to get away with what they’ve gotten away with so far. It can’t happen again.

For a period of time both parties worked to advance the goals of mega corporations instead of the goals of normal Americans and our country. It fed the communist beast in China and allowed them to rise up as a super power who works around the clock to destroy America.

We must never return to Romney’s corporatist and thereby globalist worldview. It never has been and never will be our friend. The future is coming into view. Put very simply, our way of life only survives and/or improves if we put America first. So what does that look like?

• No more mega mergers
• Break up Big Tech companies
• Rapidly reduce dependence on China and do whatever is necessary to move manufacturing to 🇺🇸
• Build new anti-China alliances
• If a corporation/school mandates critical race theory, they can’t get any government funds

• School Choice
• More trade schools
• Infrastructure upgrades
• Move all government agencies out of DC so they aren’t in the swamp
• Remove college degree requirement for government jobs
• Make it socially unacceptable to take corporate donations in politics
• Patriotism

• Ban China from buying farmland in the US and seize the land if they don’t sell within 4 years of the law passing
• Ban the sale of pharmaceuticals made in China, it’s a national security risk to allow it
• Illegal entry to the US means you never get benefits or citizenship

• Pass an internet bill of rights that guarantees the right to free speech online
• Lower taxes for the middle class
• Close tax loopholes that monopolies exploit

This is just some of what it’s going to take but this is the direction that will save America from the far left.
