Business Updates:
β’ Covid revenue declined to contribution and now contributing 3.4% of revenue.
β’ Cardiac revenue share back to 35% share. Revenue impacted due too covid
β’ CAPEX announced for new hospital will be operational post Q2
β’ Invested in manpower and equipment side.
Capacity:
β’ Capacity addition has been happened but not in terms of expansion, but in in terms of increasing the realization per bed (like general to luxury wards, adding up beds, adding ICU facility etc.)
Brown field Expansion:
β’ It was lull during pandemic, but now co. may review it again, but as of now nothing new on brown field expansion.
β’ Co. don't want bring up capex with lower return and do any harm on capital.
β’ Capital allocation is the most priority of co.
Cayman Island:
β’ The facility over there is good and there are many patients of US visiting there.
β’ Mgmt is very prone to capital allocation.
β’ While IRR seems to be good in the Cayman Island facility.
β’ Co. is doing more in retail care, to increase the patient & margins.
β’ Cayman Island is almost 70% vaccinated. AS of now people are not wearing mask and not wearing PPE kit and there is situation is normal now. Tourist industry is going well, however post opening up of toruist may increase the covid patient.
β’ Co. can add up day care facility.
Covid treatment:
β’ April appears to be decrease in revenue with compare to March.
β’ However co. in past has witnessed decreasing revenue in April with respect March.
β’ Covid wave 2 kicked in mid of April.
β’ May has seen decline in revenue by around 2% with respect to April.
Vaccine Opportunity:
β’ Narayana will take no additional cost giving vaccine. There would be any single rs extra charge for the vaccine.
β’ Co. wont be even making revenue for syrine, and there wont be any revenue generation.
β’ Co. has even tied up with donation
CAPEX:
β’ 125-150 cr annually capex will be spend.
β’ As mentioned last year capex was now done last years so that would also be added this year. Hence capex would be more than 250 cr.
β’ Adding Oncology block in Cayman and there would be addition of ~100 bed.
Oncology:
β’ It is most favored business and not has become the second largest contributing business.
β’ Contribution of revenue has increased ~10% to 13.4% this year.
Kolkata:
β’ Kolkata will have revenue growth, however there is one center which is de-growing.
Margin:
β’ Currently most of the cost of the company has gone up, however company is trying to increase the margin and adding up measures to increase the margin.
Bed Facility:
Now much of the bed facility in the metro city, hence cities such as Mumbai and NCR are also contributing significant revenue.
