Thread: #PrideMonth

In Nazi concentration camps, each prisoner was required to wear a downward-pointing, equilateral triangular cloth badge on their chest, the color of which identified the reason for their imprisonment;

1/n Image
A pink triangle was established for prisoners identified as homosexual men, which also included bisexual men and transgender women. The pink triangles were slightly larger than the other colored triangles so that guards could identify them from a distance.
It is said that those who wore the pink triangles were singled out by the guards, and when the guards were finished with them, some of the other inmates would harm them as well.
At the end of the war, when the concentration camps were finally liberated, all of the prisoners were released except those who wore the pink triangle.
Those with a pink triangle on their pocket were put back in prison and their nightmare continued. Prisoners imprisoned for homosexuality were re-incarcerated by the USA led Allied-established Federal Republic of Germany.
H
The Nazi amendments to Paragraph 175, which turned homosexuality from a minor offense into a felony, remained intact in East Germany until 1968 and in West Germany until 1969, though West Germany continued to imprison those identified as homosexual until 1994.
Its important to know this piece of history when west is going gaga over pride month and major brands from developed countries are enforcing the idea of acceptance in conservative societies of Asia or Africa while themselves being the major oppressor of LGBT community throughout.
Conservative socities in India, Japan or even china have treated queers far better than their virtue signalling societies of so called superior west.

Today's millennials will be surprised to know that there was a time when almost 100% of households in India used to apply cow-dung (mixed and diluted with water) on floorings on a regular basis, to keep insects and germs at bay.

Contd... Image
That's because cow-dung is one of the rare natural substances which has antibacterial property and thus works as a natural disinfectant.
Interestingly, in most ancient homes, the floor itself would actually be made of a thick & dried layer of cow-dung, because it would have insulation property as well, which automatically regulated internal temperatures of homes.

#RememberingRajivGandhi:

There seems to be a "whitewashing" of history, when it comes to the so called "fairest" of Indian Prime Ministers - Rajiv Gandhi. So while we are remembering him today let us also learn some facts.
•1984 Anti-Sikh Riots: Rajiv's party presided over the biggest pogrom in India's history - 8000 Sikhs were murdered right around the national capital as a vengeance for the assassination of his mother - Indira Gandhi. This is 10x the size of 2002 riots.
• Bhopal Gas Tragedy: 'Govt, Union Carbide struck secret deal post leak': He was the Prime Minister when Bhopal Gas tragedy (world's worst industrial disaster) struck. He had the chief of Union Carbide in India. But, Rajiv traded the life of 17k people and let him go.

THREAD: Covid & Congress Toolkit

When India is fighting the worst pandemic which has crumbled the entire world on its feet this is how Congress is busy in making the toolkit to gain political benefits over it.

Have a look below..

#CongressToolkitExposed
• WHO never mentioned "Indian" strain in their reports. But Congress volunteers were asked to use the word "Indian Strain" in the tool kit.

Is it a coincidence that NDTV and The Hindu followed the same orders?
* As per the tool kit celebrities donating to PMCARES fund were to be aggressively questioned by the volunteers in order to create distress among the masses.

A few days ago, WHO praised UP for dealing Covid19 cases, especially in rural areas. WHO said that the large-scale testing and extensive contact tracing by the UP govt in rural areas prevented the cases from exploding in the villages of UP, which is highly populated.

1/3
Yesterday, UP conducted close to 3 lakh tests in a single day and there were about 10,000 new cases. This means that the positivity rate of Uttar Pradesh is just 3.8%, close to the recommended 3-5% by WHO. On the other hand, the national test positivity rate is > 15%.

2/3
Unfortunately, these are the news which you won't hear. While PR machinery and darbari media would tirelessly sing praises of Maharashtra (which has remained the worst effected state ever since the pandemic), there would be pin-drop silence over work done by the UP government.
