Having witnessed skeletons being pulled from their shallow graves in the jungle camps this guy's gang used to run, I'm struggling to muster much sympathy.

Back in 2015:

The two boys in the back of the Thai police pickup truck were terrified. Dressed in ragged clothes, they had been caught close to a remote people smugglers' camp in southern Thailand where authorities found the remains of 26 people.

A mate living in Thailand messages me: "I bet it’s not him & he turns up living in Chelsea under a different name running an overpriced Thai food spot on Upper Street selling somtam for 17 quid a spice-less plate."

These pictures were all taken between 8-8.09pm -- the moment each June 4 anniversary when the crowds inside Victoria Park would normally light candles to remember those killed at Tiananmen Square.

Tonight, they are lighting them on the streets and in their homes instead.

Breaking: Hong Kong police detain democracy activist Chow Hang-tung (@zouxingtong) on Tiananmen anniversary, according to an @AFP reporter on scene
A police source tells me Chow was arrested under section 17A of the Public Order Ordinance -- that's the part that covers publicising unlawful assemblies

Four people identified themselves as plainclothes police officers to Chow outside her office building in the city's Central district and said they were arresting her, according to an @AFP reporter on the scene.

She was placed in a black saloon car and driven away.

Covid jab maker BioNTech said Monday it would build a factory in Singapore that could produce hundreds of millions of doses of vaccines based on its mRNA technology per year in southeast Asia.
Construction of the manufacturing plant and a regional headquarters in Singapore will start this year, and the site could become operational by 2023, the German company said in a statement.
