Mus'ab ibn Umair R.A was a child of a very rich family. From his childhood, he lived in luxuries of life.
Especially as a handsome young man, he was lavished with special love & attention
In fact,he was unique in his luxurious tastes
He wore the most costly clothes and changed them twice a day. His shoes used to be the costliest available at that time.
He was also fond of wearing fragrance. A whiff of his fragrance was enough for the people to know that Mus'ab is passing by.
With all that luxurious lifestyle, he was very intelligent and had an elegant personality with keen mind and mastery in eloquent speech. Because of these qualities, he was moving about among the influential circles of chiefs of Quraysh at a young age.
All of this changed when he accepted Islam..
Mus'ab had to sacrifice his life of luxury for the sake of the truth of Islam. For his love for Islam, he was deprived of all his wealth, every penny of it.
After losing everything he had, he himself devoted all his time and energies in acquiring Islamic knowledge and in the service of Allah. This resulted in abject poverty.
So much so that the young man "Mus'ab' who was famous for elegant dresses, costly shoes and the best fragrance was seen in the same streets of Makkah in tattered coarse clothes. But he did not even complain.
He had found the greatest wealth of all, the love of Allah & the truth of Islam. His keen, intelligent mind had spotted & sealed a real deal by trading in the temporary pleasures of this world for the permanent luxuries of the Hereafter.
Mus'ab R.A was Martyred in Battle of Uhud.
The Prophet Muhammad ๏ทบ addressed the dead body of Mus`ab ibn `Umair R.A thus:
"When I saw you for the first time in Makkah, there was nobody more handsome and well-dressed than you". But, I see that today your hair is uncombed and only a sheet of cloth covers your body!
The Martyr of Uhud could not get proper shrouds because in those days Muslims were poor and lacked money. Musโab bin Umair R.A had only a sheet of cloth over his body; if the head was covered, the feet were bare and when the feet were covered the head was left bare.
In the end, his head was covered and his feet were covered with grass.
Such was the shroud of Mus'ab bin โUmair R.A โ the great martyr of the Muslim nation.

@Hadithoftheday Treaty of Hudaibiyah (Suleh Hudaibiyah).
Treaty of Hudaibiyah was a pivotal treaty that took place between the Muslims and the Quraish of Makkah in a place called Hudaibiyah in 6AH. This treaty eventually led to the opening/Conquest of Makkah (Fathul Makkah).
@Hadithoftheday Hudaibiyah is one of remarkable events of history of Islam.
This treaty was signed in 6AH (6 Hijri).
Hudaibiyah was the turning point in the history of Islam.
The Hudaibiyah Treaty proved to be a prelude to the Conquest of Makkah.
@Hadithoftheday The Hudaibiyah not only gave Muslims courage to go ahead with the mission, but it also tested their courage and faith in Islam.
Six years after Hijrah, the Prophet ๏ทบ dreamt that he and his followers were entering Makkah and performing tawaf. +
Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu`ba R.A:
The sun eclipsed in the lifetime of Allah's Messenger ๏ทบ on the day when (his son) Ibrahim died. +
@Hadithoftheday So the people said that the sun had eclipsed because of the death of Ibrahim.
Allah's Messenger ๏ทบ said," The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death or life (ie birth) of someone. When you see the eclipse pray and invoke Allah. " (Sahih Bukhari 1043)
@Hadithoftheday One should know that sun and moon don't eclipse because of death or birth of someone
The Prophet ๏ทบ said, The sun & moon do not eclipse because of the death of someone from the people but they are two signs amongst signs of Allah
When you see them stand up & pray (Bukhari-1041)
@Hadithoftheday Palm tree.
Allah says in Qur'an:
And the pains of childbirth drove her to the trunk of a date palm.
(Qur'an: Surah Maryam- 19:23)
And shake toward you the trunk of the palm tree; it will drop upon you ripe, fresh dates".
(Qur'an: Surah Maryam- 19:24)
@Hadithoftheday When Maryam A.S went for seclusion, an angel came in form of handsome man and gave her glad tidings of a son.
Allah says:
And when the angels said, โO Maryam, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Isa, the son of Maryam (3:45)
@Hadithoftheday The pregnancy was a great trial for Maryam A.S as she knew that the immediate assumption of someone in her circumstances was that she had strayed into an immoral relationship with a man, and carried within her an illegitimate child. This kind of gossip was imminent.
