@Hadithoftheday Treaty of Hudaibiyah (Suleh Hudaibiyah).
Treaty of Hudaibiyah was a pivotal treaty that took place between the Muslims and the Quraish of Makkah in a place called Hudaibiyah in 6AH. This treaty eventually led to the opening/Conquest of Makkah (Fathul Makkah).
@Hadithoftheday Hudaibiyah is one of remarkable events of history of Islam.
This treaty was signed in 6AH (6 Hijri).
Hudaibiyah was the turning point in the history of Islam.
The Hudaibiyah Treaty proved to be a prelude to the Conquest of Makkah.
@Hadithoftheday The Hudaibiyah not only gave Muslims courage to go ahead with the mission, but it also tested their courage and faith in Islam.

Six years after Hijrah, the Prophet ﷺ dreamt that he and his followers were entering Makkah and performing tawaf. +
@Hadithoftheday It was a good sign and hence Prophet ﷺ declared his plan to visit Makkah to perform Umrah.

Over 1,400 Muslims donned ihram with him from Madinah. They took 70 camels with them for sacrifice.
@Hadithoftheday The Makkans were bound to allow pilgrims coming but without arms- to perform Umrah. But,alarmed by the huge Muslim presence,the Quraish leaders decided not to allow them from entering the city & sent Khaled Bin Walid with 200 fighters to stop them defying the old Arab tradition
@Hadithoftheday The Prophet ﷺ changed the route of Taneem to avoid confrontation and came to a lesser-known place called Hudaibiyah on the western edge of the city.
@Hadithoftheday Determined not to allow Muslims enter the city, Makkans sent Urwah bin Masud to negotiate with the Prophet ﷺ. +
@Hadithoftheday Highly impressed with the scenes of Prophet ﷺ’s love among his followers, Urwah said, “I have visited the royal courts of the Persians, Roman and Ethiopian kingdoms, but I have never seen the kind of respect and high esteem as the followers of Muhammad ﷺ have for him. +
@Hadithoftheday Urwah said to the makkan leaders: They have come only for worship. Let them enter the holy city.” But the Makkan leaders were bent upon preventing the Muslims.
@Hadithoftheday The Prophet ﷺ later sent Uthman bin Affan who had good contacts in Makkah but they detained him and spread a rumor to upset the Muslims that Uthman R.A has been killed. This was a great challenge. And Muslims started preparing for war with the Makkan pagans.
@Hadithoftheday Thus, They released Uthman R.A and sent Sohayl bin Amr Al-Thaqafi to negotiate the terms of peace with the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ Sohayl (later embraced Islam) was very tough in dealings. He reached the following terms called as Treaty of Hudaibiyah.
The Treaty of Hudaibiyah was as:
@Hadithoftheday Terms of the treaty of Hudaybiyyah:

1. There should be peace between the Muslims and the Quraish for a period of 10 years.

2. The Muslims will return to Madinah without performing Umrah this year.
+
@Hadithoftheday 3. This year the Muslims will go back without entering Makkah. But next year Muhammad ﷺ & his followers can enter Makkah, spend three days & perform the Umrah
4. If anyone goes to Madina, they can be returned but If any Muslim goes to Makkah from Madina, they cannot be returned
@Hadithoftheday 5. Any person or tribe who wishes to join Muhammad ﷺ & to enter into any agreement with him is free to do so,likely any person/tribe who wishes to join the Quraish & to enter into any agreement with them is free to do so i.e Tribes of Arabia are free to take any side they want
@Hadithoftheday It was an agreement that went against the wishes of the Muslims, but later it turned out to be a great victory for Muslims.
The Prophet ﷺ showed extreme patience by accepting all the terms. It was one of most outstanding events & proved to be turning point in the Islamic history
@Hadithoftheday It was really a great triumph of Prophet Mohammad ﷺ as after the peaceful armistice at Hudaibiyah, Islam increased in leap and bounds. Muslims had full liberty to preach Islam.

The people realized the eventual triumph of Islam. They entered the fold of Islam in thousands.
@Hadithoftheday The following year when the Prophet گے مﷺ returned to perform Umrah, there were 2,000 pilgrims with him instead of 1400 earlier .
@Hadithoftheday When the Prophet ﷺ returned from Hudaibiya, he received the Divine revelation that Allah had put a seal of honor on this treaty and called it "Fatah Al-Mubeen" (Manifest Victory) in the Qur'an. (48:01)
The Hudaibiyah Treaty proved to be a prelude to the Conquest of Makkah.
@Hadithoftheday Lessons from Hudaibiyah:
1. Victory is not always in winning
2. With patience, adversity turns good
3. Allah’s promise is true
4. Courage, dedication and loyalty of Companions.
5. Patience

@Hadithoftheday Solar eclipse.

Narrated Al-Mughira bin Shu`ba R.A:
The sun eclipsed in the lifetime of Allah's Messenger ﷺ on the day when (his son) Ibrahim died. +
@Hadithoftheday So the people said that the sun had eclipsed because of the death of Ibrahim.
Allah's Messenger ﷺ said," The sun and the moon do not eclipse because of the death or life (ie birth) of someone. When you see the eclipse pray and invoke Allah. " (Sahih Bukhari 1043)
@Hadithoftheday One should know that sun and moon don't eclipse because of death or birth of someone

The Prophet ﷺ said, The sun & moon do not eclipse because of the death of someone from the people but they are two signs amongst signs of Allah
When you see them stand up & pray (Bukhari-1041)

@Hadithoftheday When Maryam A.S went for seclusion, an angel came in form of handsome man and gave her glad tidings of a son.
Allah says:
And when the angels said, “O Maryam, indeed Allah gives you good tidings of a word from Him, whose name will be the Messiah, Isa, the son of Maryam (3:45)
@Hadithoftheday The pregnancy was a great trial for Maryam A.S as she knew that the immediate assumption of someone in her circumstances was that she had strayed into an immoral relationship with a man, and carried within her an illegitimate child. This kind of gossip was imminent.

@Hadithoftheday Odd number of dates.
It is Mustahab to break the fast with odd number of dates.
It is not obligatory and in fact it is not Sunnah to break the fast with an odd number, three or five or seven or nine, except on the Day of Eid al-Fitr.
@Hadithoftheday Narrated Anas bin Malik R.A : Allah's Messenger ﷺ never proceeded (for the prayer) on the Day of Eid-ul-Fitr unless he had eaten some dates. Anas R.A also narrated: The Prophet ﷺ used to eat odd number of dates - (Sahih Bukhari)
@Hadithoftheday Some scholars have regarded it as mustahabb to make everything odd-numbered.
All words and deeds should be made odd-numbered. This is the Sunnah. (Shaykh Saalih-al-fawzan)
