Rs exploitation of some of our democracy's design flaws has meant despite regularly losing popular vote GOP has been able to block sensible progress on climate, infrastructure, guns, immigration, etc.

Critical that we establish GOP's radicalization extends to entire governing agenda - taxes, climate, infrastructure, guns, COVID, race, immigration - not just democracy.

Not a left right thing, or big vs small govt thing. It is a forward backward thing. We have problems, and need to solve them or the national will fall behind.

Rs have no plans for COVID, economy, immigration, health care, gun, climate etc. It's as if they aren't even in the governing business any more. Their infrastructure proposals were LOL ridiculous, w/o any policy rationale.

A failed GOP has become US's greatest challenge (5/x).

It is vital the Democratic Party make the radicalization of the GOP a central issue in our national conversation.

We have to tell the story of what's happened - for there isn't a clear price to pay for their radicalization it will get worse (6/x).
