I have great regard for Mike Pence, one of the greatest Vice Presidents ever. While Democrats and the media pretend that their opposition to Trump was somehow rooted in Trump's intemperate utterances, what's their excuse to slander Mike Pence?
2. Mike Pence Speaks
Blasting H.R. 1, the Democrat-led ethics and voting rights package, Pence said Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democrats in Washington "want to literally codify many of the very practices that create the greatest opportunity for fraud."
He is right.
3. Mike Pence Speaks
While Pence avoided promoting conspiracies about the election, he did talk about "election integrity" and endorsed efforts in state legislatures nationwide to enact GOP-led voting legislation.
This is one hundred percent the right position for the GOP.
4. Mike Pence Speaks🙏
On January 6:
"President Trump and I've spoken many times since we left office," Pence said. "And I don't know if we'll ever see eye to eye on that day. But I will always be proud of what we accomplished for the American people over the last four years."
5. Mike Pence Speaks
Trump called for his No. 2 to overturn the results, despite no constitutional mechanism to do so. The calls from Trump and his supporters led to angry chants from protesters to "Hang Mike Pence" as he rejected any notion of overturning the election results.
6. Mike Pence Speaks
In demeanor and taking principled stands on things that matter, Mike Pence represents the best of Republican Party today. Republicans will be well advised to get behind this man to oppose what the Biden administration has wrought.
7. I am not necessarily endorsing Mike Pence for president quite yet. I will need to see much more by way of his ability and desire to win to reach that conclusion. I am endorsing his decency and resolute defense of the good things that Trump administration accomplished.

Folks, this is sophisticated psy-ops. Republicans have to find a way to defang the media's ability to manipulate millions on the right with cheap tricks. I suspect our intelligence agencies perfected this art form by concocting a mysterious QAnon apparition. It fooled millions.
Whenever Republicans' buttons are pressed just the right way, but they're being goaded into taking a position that will do absolutely nothing to further the Republican policy agenda while pumping up people on the right to expend energy in a futile way, suspect a dirty trick.
There is an extraordinary litany of 6 unanimous decisions in 2 weeks which could in part reflect an implied message from the justices that this is a court that is not nearly as rigid and divided as suggested by Democratic members and activists.
2. Recently, Breyer warned against any move to expand the Supreme Court. He also rejected the characterization of the current Court as “conservative” or ideologically rigid. jonathanturley.org/2021/06/01/unp…
3. Breyer was swiftly denounced by figures like cable news host Mehdi Hasan who called called for his retirement. Demand Justice, a liberal group calling for court packing, had a billboard truck the next day in the streets of DC warning “Breyer, retire. Don’t risk your legacy.”
Masks work when used appropriately in limited contexts (see next tweet).
Mask mandates don't work is amply demonstrated by extensive data that states with mask mandates fared no better than those without, no matter how you slice the data.
Masks Work, Mask Mandates Don't 2/2
Masks work so long as the following three statements are true:
a) SARS-CoV-2 is transmitted person-to-person.
b) SARS-CoV-2 is transmitted via water droplets in breath.
c) Severity of Covid-19 illness is directly proportional to viral load.
People used masks in appropriate contexts based on their own common sense, with or without mandates. That's why Covid-19 infection rates show no correlation to presence/absence of mandates.
WSJ: "Is there any city where residents endorse the BLM's agenda? Some news organizations have labored to persuade viewers that police officers constitute a major threat to many of the citizens. The citizens still aren’t buying it."
2. Even in what is arguably America’s leftwardmost political jurisdiction, it turns out that “defund the police” is a rallying cry for only a small percentage of the citizenry, despite what CNN viewers have been led to believe.
3. The new Oregonian poll also helps puncture the myth that people of color don’t want cops in their neighborhoods. Mr. Kavanaugh reports:
Nothing, and I mean nothing, justifies Trump slandering Mitch McConnell and Mike Pence for those two men having done their constitutional duty. They supported him as far as they could constitutionally, but refused to cross the constitutional red line (I respect them for it).
If Trump wants to complain till his dying day that he was wronged by the Democrats, that's his prerogative. What I will actively oppose is him trying to tear down Mitch McConnell and Mike Pence or anyone else for not having violated the Constitution at his behest.
How Bitcoin Is Destroying The Planet 1/2
By consuming more electricity than the annual usage of 159 countries. And guess what al that power is being used to do?
How Bitcoin Is Destroying The Planet 2/2
To power supercomputers that are competing against each other to 'guess an arbitrary number.' The winner is rewarded in Bitcoin and the next round starts. This is happening nonstop around the world. That is it.
The last time I looked (in 2017), the electricity used to mine Bitcoins in just one year was 29.05 Terra Watt Hours. A Terra Watt Hour is of course a Thousand Billion Watt Hours.
