It is perfectly okay to be upset, repulsed, or disgusted by things that do not meet your standard.

1 They have an opinion about everything
Regular people have an opinion about everything and they always need to tell you. They seek constant validation.
HINT: Keep it to yourself
"I'm at that stage in life where even if you say 1+1=5, you're right, have fun." - Keanu Reeves
2 Everything is someone else’s fault
They blame life
They blame their parents
They blame the president
It's NEVER their fault.
They fail to realize if they actually took responsibility for their life they would have a better chance of succeeding (but that's too hard).
3 They care more about “celebrities” than their family
Instead of spending time with their family, they would rather live vicariously through someone else's life.
They are obsessed with someone (who doesn't care about them) and spend 0 minutes thinking about people who do.
4 They watch the News (and think it's important)
This is the news every single night
hate
hate
hate
fear
fear
fear
It's designed to make you think it's important... and sell you pharmaceuticals. The better option is to just stop watching.
5 They think investing is “risky”
Investing is a scam
Investing is a Ponzi
Investing is a casino
EXCUSES
Responsible investing comes with risk.
At the same time, they keep their money in a savings account and never question why banks pay them a 0.1% interest rate.
6 They buy overpriced SUVs on credit
I’ve had regular people tell me their car is an asset and act like it's an investment.
Hint: It’s not. It’s a liability.
Understand the difference.
7 They like to waste time
I do not know ONE successful person who enjoys wasting time. Time is your most valuable resource.
Guard it wisely.
Avoid people who waste it.
"Don't waste time on anything that doesn't actually make things better." - Elon Musk
8 They go to college, get a degree, can’t get a job, then go BACK to college
I swear regular people have Stockholm syndrome when it comes to college. They never question that maybe they aren't getting their money's worth.
Newsflash: College is the problem
9 They think medication solves everything
Have a problem? Take a pill
Feeling drowsy? Take a pill
Feeling sad? Take pill
Instead of looking to improve their life, they want a magic solution. It comes in the form of a small pill peddled to them by a large corporation.
10 They complain about money but won’t do anything to make any more of it
Get a side hustle
Work more hours
Do something to get ahead
There is plenty of money out in the world. Instead of using your energy to complain about it, use your energy to get your hands on it.
11 They listen to rap music
If you listen to ugly things.
You will be ugly.
If you listen to violent things.
You will be violent.
If you listen to negative things.
You will be negative.
Be careful with the type of content that you consume.
12 They think rich people got lucky
Making money isn’t about luck. It’s about becoming the kind of person who attracts money. To become wealthy you need to transform your character so that opportunity finds you.
FACT: 98% of wealthy people would be able to recreate their wealth
13 They take stupid advice from stupid people
Not all information is created equal.
Want to learn about wealth?
Ask an actual rich person.
Want to learn about fitness?
As someone who is fit.
Knowledge is much more valuable when it comes from someone who has practiced it.
14 They give up too soon
Regular people give up too easily.
The problem is that they do not understand that the journey is more important than the result.
"I trained 4 years to run 9 seconds and people give up when they don't see results in 2 months." - Usain Bolt
15 They think money is evil
"Ethical wealth creation is possible. If you secretly despise wealth, it will elude you.” - @naval
Money is not the root of all evil.
Money is a tool.
Regardless of how you use it, it is an object.
The person wielding it gives meaning.
16 They own more TVs than they do books
The quickest way to get to know someone is to look at their bookshelves. If I walk into a house and see more TVs and books, I will know exactly how they think.
(it's whatever the TV tells them)
17 They think hard work = money
Children are told a myth
“Hard work equals success.”
It's a lie...
Hard work does not equal more money. Smart work equals more money. The person who outsmarts you is also outworking you because they found a better way of doing it.

1 Be a lifelong learner
Lifelong learners recognize the importance of personal development (and embrace the journey).
They are never satisfied. They always seek to improve. They never settle for just "knowing".
This is what keeps you youthful.
This is what sets you apart.
2 Embrace optimism
See the glass as half full instead of half empty.
Your mindset is a CHOICE
The most successful people I know are also the most optimistic. This is not a coincidence.
People care too much about degrees, titles, certifications. None of that matters.
Life itself is the real IQ test.
Do not be fooled by degrees.
I have a Master's in education. I can tell you firsthand that many academics are complete rubes. At the same time, I've met laborers that were brilliant.
People confuse education with intelligence.
I've been offered to teach at University.
Turned it down. I wanted to get out into the real world. College feels like an MLM. They treat students like they are piggybanks. It's repulsive.
Now I teach people how to make money online
(it pays better)
As a public school teacher, I have one word of advice to all of the parents: Homeschool your children.
A lot of people are asking why?
There is little joy left in public school teaching anymore. Everyone is looked at like they are a number. No joy in classrooms does NOT = Lifelong learners.
To the naysayers, why do you think school is normal?
Children spend around 8 hrs/M-F surrounded by people their own age and a handful of adults learning about mitochondria.
School isn’t about learning. It’s about passing.
If anything, it makes them less intelligent.
High-value individuals have aspirations. They will work toward goals without letting anyone else get in the way.
When you have self-worth you will work harder to give yourself the life you deserve. It is expected.
Value yourself and feel worthy.
2. Always invest in yourself
The benefits of self-improvement last a lifetime. You will continually reap the rewards. When you begin to go down this path it will impact your rate-of-return in every avenue of life.
