There was really something bothersome about Putin sticking his nose in US affairs again on Friday by supporting the insurrectionists.

First and foremost, it's none of his business. But, there was something else.
In referring to the insurrectionist, it was notable that he said those people aren't "looters and thieves," and that their concerns were "legitimate." Why did he bother to say that? And in that context, what did that even mean? How the hell would he know?
Aside from the fact that it's a lie because the Capitol was clearly looted, vandalized and things were clearly stolen, why was it necessary to justify their actions by attempting to exonerate them for their actions caught on video?
And, There was no election fraud , so the concerns are not legitimate.

But think about it; you know who is always referred to looters and thieves no matter how valid the cause, no matter how peaceful the protest, and no matter how egregiously they are treated?

Black people.
That's his point.

He was messaging directly to white supremacists. His intention, at least in part was to not only justify the violent action against democracy, he tried to differentiate between white racist insurrectionist who were clearly violent, and black people.
The entire goal of the insurrection was to overturn the election that black people were instrumental in helping to win, in order to extinguish the existential threat to permanent loss of power to republicans, and to preserve the power of the vote...
...in favor of white supremacists all based on a lie. And going forward, the work of the insurrectionists continues in the states that are passing laws to codify and legitimize through VOTER NULLIFICATION what the racist marauders failed to accomplish on January 6, 2021.
Putin is inserting himself into our politics using whatever platform he can in an effort to prop up Trump, who has little media voice at this time. Putin is using cheap racist dog whistles, implied smears, and stereotypes to do it, because they work.
He's been doing it all along. But he is making it clear that he favors white supremacist and white nationalist. So let's not sleep on who and what Putin is. He's a racist, and he's using race in this country for his own benefit.

D-Day was launched 76 years ago today to defend against the march of fascism and autocracy across the world. Those evil elements are again on the march in the US. The Capitol was attacked, and democracy is under threat. The danger is high, and it's real.

So in that context that it's imperative to understand that everything that Manchin states in the op ed above is a lie.

None of his reasoning, logic, politics, strategy, or solutions make sense, unless the goal is to undermine democracy while providing cover for the saboteurs.
It's an insult to every person who fought and died that day for him to pretend he supports democracy and freedom by blocking voting rights reform, appeasing white supremacists and neofascists, and compromising America's long-term stability for his personal and political benefits.

NFL "Race Norming" is nothing more than a variation on eugenics for the purpose of denying proper treatment and payment to black players. But it also affects every other aspect of how the NFL treats blacks including hiring coaches.

The NFL got caught.

washingtonpost.com/sports/2021/06…
To be crystal clear, this is yet another example of structural, systemic, institutionalized racism. There is no good version of, or rational explanation for it.
The NFL's race norming starts from the foundational premise that blacks function at a lower cognitive level than whites, and go down from there. Since traumatic brain injury is determined by the amount it cognitive decline, if blacks are systematically artificially...

Despite the breathtaking scope of the Tulsa Massacre atrocity, it is only a small segment of the ugly history of blacks in America. I am glad America is beginning to take note of the significance of that history. But, it's almost midnight in America, and tomorrow is uncertain.
Blacks have said so for generations, but for whatever reasons, most Americans have not been inclined to listen until now. So there's a lot of ground to make up, and not a lot of time to do it.
My questions are:

1. Why aren't more people pissed at having been denied that history?
2. Why are so many people seemingly docile and mute while republicans continue to rewrite and bastardize history even now for their own political goals, including undermining democracy? And,

How can you go through your entire education and not know anything? The Whiskey Rebellion, for one.
When you listen to people like Matt Gaetz and MTG talk about almost anything, their ignorance, pure lack of education, insistence on victimology, pseudo-religious driven self-entitlement, willingness to lie, and intent to promote violence based on that comes pouring out.
It's astounding that so much is expected of some, and so little is expected of others, yet they are the people who insist on being in charge.

Whenever they open their mouths, they reaffirm how mentally and emotionally unfit they are. They are proudly and dangerously clueless

There is nothing, NOTHING, more important than defending the country from threats foreign or domestic. That includes insurrection, armed rebellion, and attempted coups through election theft. If this nation is not protected first and foremost, then none of other niceties matter.
They won't even exist. Therefore, it's inexcusable that cowardly republicans and at least one democrat escaped DC to avoid doing just that, dodging and evading their sworn oaths in the process.
So consider this: We require our servicemen and women to miss anniversaries, birthdays and even the birth of their children when they are serving in defense of the nation.

What was at threatened in 1/6/2021, and at stake every since is Friday's survival, jeopardized by racist violent extremists. So for McConnell to whip votes against the Truth Commission as a "personal favor" is endlessly offensive and disgusting.
What the hell does personal favor have to do with the survival of a nation, unless his racist hubris places personal politics, profit and thirst for power above everyone else. The act of whipping votes for personal favor amounts to sedition, and it's as sick as it is treasonous.
It has always been a stunt with the republican leadership. Republicans have been offered everything that they said they wanted, and now the still balk. That's because agreement, resolution, and truth were never the goal. Only destruction.

Are you catching on yet America?
