Walking with my two feet
I face you who can't be seen.
As always, I...
A few centimeters of tremor to greet you.
I wanna keep the bass down low
Already my mind is in weekend mode
I don't see no open cars, no open bars
It's not bad. I'm all alone on the road. +
The hearts of people floating like islands.
A night that probably will never come.
I walk down the horizon and roll again.
To that vanishing point we've set.
Let's ride a bike if you're sad.
Let the wind be under your feet.
Oh, let's ride a bike.
Freely open your arms. +
Me, me, me, me, me, me, me.
nana nana nana
Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me.
nana nana nana
Let it roll sometimes.
Like a bicycle wheel.
I need to find something.
Like an afternoon snack.
I feel like I've been living for this little moment.
A private midday dream on two wheels+
Feel the roof, smell the truth
It's not far away. A miracle
Whatever face you make, it's ok now
What's really precious is invisible
Get your feet off the ground
a bird-like figure
Like an island stay afloat.
Dance with the wind.
Yeah, you can cry.
When you're happy, you're sad+
Let's ride a bike if you're sad.
Let the wind be under your feet.
Oh, let's ride a bike.
Freely open your arms.
Me, me, me, me, me, me, me.
nana nana nana
Me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me, me.
nana nana nana
Nanana Nanana
Lalalalalala
Nanana Nanana

[It's a pretty rough first pass translation, I'll be thinking more about word choices and double meanings in the coming days] 💜

Breaking down the masterpiece that is Trivia: Love by #RM. Namjoon doesn't just showcase masterful wordplay, but also striking visuals and valuable lessons in the art of loving. Here I split it in 3 parts: to feel love, to give love, to keep love. + #namjoon#RMverse@BTS_twt
"The Art of Loving" is actually the name of a book by social psychologist Erich Fromm. Namjoon recommended this book on the fancafe back in the Love Yourself era. I'll be using a few quotes from the book as references in this thread + #RM#방탄소년단알엠#김남준
The premise of Trivia: Love, and of the book, is that love is not easy, and truly experiencing it requires us to focus on learning how to give love, and not just how to receive love (or be loved). It is all about the act of loving. +
Today I'm reading this book that Namjoon recommended 💜 #RM@BTS_twt
So i read Babylon already the other day (the first short story) and i have a fear of heights.. i was pretty shocked to actually feel my fear while reading this story. It follows someone going up the tower of Babylon that is meant to reach the heavens. The writing is WOW
The second short story is Understand, and it's following a guy called Leon who had an accident and is recovering from brain damage. This is affecting me a lot because I have a friend called Leon who fell on his head in a climbing accident and is now in recovery 😔
Breaking down the genius storytelling of Intro Persona by #RM: Namjoon brilliantly uses his alter-egos to take us on his personal journey to the self, from pre-debut until present-day. ++ #방탄소년단RM#KimNamjoon#김남준@BTS_twt #RMverse
Namjoon presents us with 5 versions of himself throughout Intro Persona (for now let's call them 'personas', although not all of them are such). Both the lyrics and the visuals of the MV tell us Namjoon's story, how he started, overcame challenges and came to be who he is now. ++
Namjoon's clever interplay between Korean and English shines again in Intro Persona with the sound "na", which in Korean (나) means "me". The self "na" is within the persoNA.
The sound "na" comes 26 times in the song, coincidentally Namjoon's Korean age when it was released! ++
