"The guy who crossed the street in front of us, he was so hot."
Hyukjae laughed.
"That's why you moaned?
"It wasn't a moan! You should have seen him, he had curly hair and a beard and the way he walked was..." he sighed. "Hyukjae, I think I fell in love."
They both laughed, Hyukjae looked at him briefly from the driver's seat.
"You know, you never do that."
"Hm?"
"Talk about someone like that. You should do it more often, I like it."
"Are you being sarcastic?"
"No, really," said Hyukjae. "You sounded so frustrated."
"And you like that."
"A little bit, yeah."
"Shouldn't you be jealous or something?"
"Hm... no. I know you love this body and face more than anything in the world."
Donghae scoffed at Hyukjae's faked arrogant tone.
"You really think you're the big deal." He stared at him and after a few seconds he reached out a hand to touch his boyfriend's face.
"But it's true," stated Donghae, pinching Hyukjae's cheeks. "What would I do without this cute little face?" he teased him insistently as Hyuk tried to push him away.
"Be careful!"
Donghae laughed and briefly fixed Hyukjae's hair before sitting back properly in the car seat.
After a few minutes without talking, Donghae giggled to himself before speaking.
"I love you."
Hyukjae looked at him quizzically. Donghae just enjoyed the reaction.
"And I you." Hyuk frowned trying to figure out why he was saying it to him so suddenly but Donghae just smiled.
"God, you're so weird," whined Hyukjae. "Give me the ring, I want a divorce."
Donghae raised his eyebrows, amused. They didn't have any ring. Yet.
"We're not even married and you already want to divorce?"
Hyukjae laughed, making the younger one smile.

[Drabble request: Donghae is in junior year in highschool and Hyukjae is in senior year, they are boyfriends. Hyukjae makes a new friend his age and Donghae becomes insecure about their relationship.]
In their teenage years, Donghae got a hairstyle he hated for their upcoming debut. Hyukjae tries to comfort him.]
Hyukjae frowned as he heard a stifled cry when he arrived at the salon for his haircut appointment.
He looked around and saw a guy on the waiting room couch. He was lying face down, his face buried in a cushion, and he had a bunch of rollers in his hair. After a few seconds, Hyukjae recognized him and got closer to him.
"Donghae?"
"Go away."
"Did something happen?"
"I don't want you to see me."
"Why?"
"Just go away. Go!" Hyukjae approached his friend. He crouched down on the side of the sofa.
"I can't leave, I have an appointment," he said softly.
Donghae stayed silent. A few seconds later, he sobbed.
Hyukjae wanted to roll his eyes. While he was taking a call at the bar they decided to go to, Donghae made a new friend: the man sitting next to him.
Donghae was sometimes a bit naive, not realizing that many people were interested in him in a romantic way when Donghae just wanted to talk. Hyukjae couldn't tell the number of times someone tried to get his number when they were out on a date.
At that moment, the guy at the bar was talking to him. And he talked and talked. And he was a little too close for Hyukjae’s liking. Donghae was laughing.
Hyukjae had already hung up a few seconds ago, but Donghae turned his back to talk to the man.

“Daddy!”
Donghae smiled as he saw Haru running towards him. It was five o'clock in the afternoon, Haru had finished her day at the kindergarten and Donghae went to pick her up.
They both could rest at home until Hyukjae arrived a couple of hours later.
The little girl raised her arms and Donghae bent down to give her a hug.
“Up!” Donghae laughed and carried her in his arms, making her laugh too.
“Hey baby, did you eat all your food?”
“Hm!” Donghae kissed her cheek repeatedly. He carried her to the car and settled her in the seat.
“Don't move, love.” Haru stirred in her car seat, making it difficult to secure the belt. Eventually, Donghae managed to do it and went to the driver's seat.
Donghae smiled mischievously at Hyukjae when he saw that the movie theater was practically empty. There were only about three people in the center row.
He took his boyfriend's hand again and led them to the last row.
Once they both sat down, Hyukjae looked at him.
“What?” Said Donghae.
“Are you planning something?”
“Why?”
“You chose the farthest seats.” Hyukjae raised his eyebrows.
[Drabble request: They had an argument, then one of them tries to appease the other.]
Donghae took a deep breath. They were having dinner at their appartment, neither of them spoke a word.
Those last few weeks, Hyukjae had spent his time watching videos or reading, distracted, uncommunicative.
He usually didn't talk much about his feelings, yes, but this time he wouldn't say anything at all and Donghae was reaching his limit of tolerance.
And he reached his limit when Hyukjae took out his phone and started typing. Hae put down his utensils on the table and stretched out his arm. He took the cell phone out of his hands.
