Just Released: photos of the 2 suspects arrested in Southern Calif. & accused of being involved in the road rage incident that led to one of the suspects allegedly firing a gun at the back of a car. The bullet killed a 6yo boy.
Suspects:
Marcus Anthony Eriz, 24
Wynne Lee, 23,
Prosecutors say he was the shooter, she the driver. Both altered their appearance & both seemed surprised when police arrested them at home. They had gone out for sushi Sunday; police were watching them but didn’t want to cause a scene at the restaurant by arresting them there.
The suspects aren’t believed to be involved in any gangs & don’t have a criminal history. The gun used in the road rage incident was registered legally to the suspect who allegedly leaned out the vehicle & fired a shot, while on the way to work, into the back of the victims car.
The district attorney says they tipsters starting calling in after looking on their car dash cameras and realizing they had captured a vehicle that looked like the one police were looking for.
So, authorities collected dash cam video from multiple people and then paired that with video taken from camera stationed along the freeway in south California where the suspects were driving.
That’s how police say they came to track most of the route the suspects took, but at some point they lost them and there wasn’t any other video to finish tracking their trip. Police had only a partial license plate number.
The suspects were driving a vehicle that is very unique. There are less than 150 in Southern California. Police were prepared to locate and knock on the doors of every drive known to own that type of vehicle. But it didn’t come to that. Tips led police to the suspects.

The @lumaenergypr website is both slow, and not working at time, when it comes to allowing people to report outages in Puerto Rico.
Luma’s twitter also doesn’t announce major outages or update service request.
So, where are you without power now? Make sure to list your location.
Interestingly, @AEEONLINE is tweeting about outages but @lumaenergypr isn’t. I’ve called the Luma spokeswoman to find out if Luma is using the AEE account but I haven’t heard back yet.

BREAKING: Jesus Bonano Laureano, who’d been released from jail in Puerto Rico under habeas corpus has been found dead.
Police believe Bonano Laureano
was murdered at his home tonight.
He had been arrested & accused of murdering surfer Brian Ramos Torres. elvocero.com/ley-y-orden/as…
Jesus Bonano Laureano was in jail awaiting trial but proceedings were delayed b/c of quarantine/pandemic, & then the judge got sick so the suspects attorney petitioned to have him released. The constitution states no one shall be held in jail more than 180 days without trial.
So the suspect was well within his rights to petition for release. I asked the attorney generals office couldn’t more have been done to move the proceeding along to where this didn’t happen. I asked whether they thought about starting over the preliminary hearing with a new judge
