Keiko Fujimori is now alleging instances of fraud in Peru's presidential race, as leftwing rival Pedro Castillo widens his lead. Fujimori held a press conference and showed social media videos that, she says, show Castillo's party apparently stealing votes.
Fujimori lost the 2016 election by a margin of 0.24 percentage point and is currently losing this year's election by a margin of 0.54 percentage point
And Fujimori is asking supporters to publicly share allegations of fraud, should they exist, with a hashtag on Twitter
One thing Fujimori has made clear in past months is that she made a critical mistake in the 2016 cycle when she lost by a razor-thin margin: she didn't ask for a recount.

Now she's losing by a razor-thin margin again expreso.com.pe/elecciones-202…
"There's a clear intention to boycott the will of the people," Fujimori said

Analysts had expected that a close result could lead to days of uncertainty, tension and perhaps some level of unrest, but the claims now add fuel to that scenario." reuters.com/world/americas…

Keiko Fujimori now giving a second press conference alleging "systemic" fraud in Peru's election, where is losing. Exhibit A is that she got no votes or just one vote in poor rural districts, among voting groups that hold 200-300 people.
Other allegations include signatures that do not match the signatures registered with Peruvian authorities years earlier, or that members of the same family were running voting locations where Fujimori lost
Overall, Fujimori said there are 500,000 votes at stake that could have been the subject of fraud. She is losing by some 70,000 votes at the moment

1/ Matias Zubko, 28, and his wife both have DACA. They are supposed to close on a house *tomorrow*. propublica.org/article/will-t…
2/ They were having second thoughts last week, as speculation was rampant that DACA would end. This is what Matias told me last Thursday
3/ Matias’ work permit expires in Dec (but he should be able to renew it until Dec 2019). His wife’s expires in 2018 and cannot be renewed
