Senate NOW holding a series of four votes on the science and technology competition with China bill, ending with its final passage.
First Senate vote is on Cornyn (R-TX) amdt to modify to the Commerce Dept's semiconductor incentives program in the China competition bill by striking its Davis-Bacon prevailing wage provision. Simple majority is needed.

Julien Neals, an African American Newark NJ former municipal chief judge, was 1st nominated by Pres. Obama to serve on US District Ct for NJ in Feb 2015,but never received a vote in GOP-led Senate before his nomination expired in Jan 2017 & was not renominated during Trump Admin.
