Plus she was in a mentally (and possibly physically) abusive relationship. Some of Suns behavior likely reminded her of Adam & she may have subconsciously taken on some of Adam's tendencies. After all, I already discussed how she probably picked up "I'll protect you" from Adam.
Plus don't forget the V4C8 slaps were a miscommunication between the writing and the animation
And I lowkey headcanon part of her reasoning for the cheek kiss was an apology for the slaps 😂
