This is the tell that the whole "debate" is a total MacGuffin. Owning is obviously better than renting *for people who are capable,* but a lot of the people buying homes are not naturally inclined.

This might be changing with inflation, immigration, etc, and there are some markets where it's impossible, but *right now* you can do this.
Forking this thread, because I want to get back to my point, which is that there are whole neighborhoods of new construction full of people who shouldn't be owning homes. They either have dual incomes and are stuck in the trap, or work in bureacratic make-work jobs.
The bill is going to come due at some point, and some of these woke corps are going to shatter. If you have a real job, you'll always be in demand, short of total collapse. Harden yourself and your family, and this whole debate is nothing.
One strength of a neoreactionary education and mindset is that it gives you an historical foundation to put what's coming into context. The people getting screwed by this process are largely the people who *always* get screwed.
I don't like seeing people from my thede get screwed, especially not good people, but it's happening now on so many levels that the only healthy response is coldness.
