In this week’s Kash’s Corner on Epoch Times, Kash Patel discusses reports of two separate defectors from China. The first was described in this article from last September as having fled to Europe rather than the US, due to fears of Chinese infiltration into the US government.

Both articles emphasize the allegations made by both defectors that the virus was the product of biological warfare research being done in the Wuhan lab by the Chinese military- research that was going on at the same place and at the same time that US aid grants were helping to
… fund projects at that lab. It’s no wonder some in the scientific community, and in our government, sought to bury the possibility that the virus was created in the lab. I suspect there are quite a few in this country guilty of a coverup.
Indeed, Kash Patel just asserted that the Intel agencies had intelligence pointing to a lab leak at an early date in the pandemic. But nobody in the media nor anyone in the scientific community reached out to Rick Grenell or John Ratcliffe for any non-classified support for that.
…According to Kash, the fact that Trump said something was true- in this case the lab leak- meant that the media, and here the scientific community, had to take the opposite view. Hence there was massive media pushback against the lab leak hypothesis, plus censorship in support.
… In fact, the way a gigantic flock of scientists -without any hard evidence- jumped aboard the zoonotic train and said lab leak was a conspiracy theory, mirrored the letter written by 50 ex- Intel officials and employees saying Hunter’s laptop was Russian disinformation.
